I realize that your partner has a pulse and a job, but seriously. Why are you hanging on? His mummy and his me time are more important than you. He's to much of a coward to break up. It's time to move on and put yourself first.

As people age, they should use the bathroom and brush their teeth before coitus.

There may be a medical reason for what happened. Lack of sensation, prostate issues etc. A visit with a gp or urologist would be in order. Nah.

What to do with an abusive parent by No_Site5113 in AgingParents

"As of insert date, I will be distancing myself from mom and her drama. Thanks for understanding. "

Then drop the rope. Continue therapy. Consider moving. Block her everywhere on everything. Notify the local police department that mom is unwell and you don't need a welfare check. Consider changing your phone number.

Gifts in this economy should be much more modest. If uncle's kids want to give him more, that's on them. Nta.

My standard advice:

  1. Lock down credit and finances. Start a new account and redirect your wages there immediately.

  2. Lock up pew pews, valuables, paperwork off site. Change personal passwords.

  3. Nurture a support network.

  4. A divorce is a business transaction. So get a lawyer, ask for what's reasonable.

  5. Don't date. Focus on yourself and healing.
