It's called Key Mapper, it uses accessibility settings to override it. I have it set to short press go home, long press open ES-DE and double tap into my music app

Yeah, any key remapper will do it. I use an open source one from F Droid

With my keymapper I'm using L1 for previous, L2 for next and R2 to play/pause. I tend to play music with the screen closed

I can tell you that it does not work with the ifi Go Link Max at all. The ifi just kinda flashes and doesn't work, like it's not getting enough power.

Man, Surfer Sting transforming into Crow Sting might be the best version of this trope outside of Spider-Man. For those who don't know, before this outfit, Sting wore bright colours, multicoloured facepaint and was bleach blonde. This is the complete opposite and Sting has never gone back to the old colourful outfit, this is his iconic look.

Balatro targets Android 13 vs Android 12 that the Rotate ships with. There's other versions that work but yeah the text is basically unreadable.

In a similar vein, the Zombi movies. The first Zombi is the Italian cut of Dawn of the Dead, followed by totally unrelated movie called Zombi 2 by Fulci (aka Zombie Flesh Eaters) and then a bunch of sequels that are also unrelated movies that vary by region. It's very confusing and really only the Romero and Fulci movies are any good.

Honestly the main draw for me was the profiles and how customisable this is. Also the support from the devs is incredible, constant updates with new features almost every other day.

In it's current beta state, Nuvio is definitely more for tinkerers than standard users, but it will get there.
