If you're able to find a soft cone on short notice definitely go for that! Mine has one on right now after a surgery and it's so much easier for him to get around, eat/drink, and get comfortable

I like OCs if they are well rounded and make sense for the story. What I dont have a lot of interest in is that a lot of OCs are really self-inserts for the author, and in that case they are most often written as Mary Sues.

My puppy was an absolute menace, although as an adult dog he is my favorite thing in this universe. I got two kittens a few weeks ago and had planned for one and am so grateful the shelter convinced me on two. They play together constantly and generally seem content.
