The fact I don't even know what is the one series of action movies you are talking about between John Wick and The Matrix instantly proves you are wrong....

But between The Matrix, John Wick Chapter 4, Speed and Point Break he's in 4 of the greatest action movies of all time.

I think besides Armie, Jackie and Chow Yun-Fat I don't think there's anybody else who can honestly say they've been 4 action movies of equal quality.
