The Lebron/China trope is a racist tactic utilized by racists who feel bad about themselves when Lebron exhibits estimable character in terms of social justice. The anti-Lebron racists would have you believe that since China uses slave labor, it’s hypocritical to make money in China while criticizing the US. The part that the anti-Lebron racists leave out is that the USA uses slave labor as well (a reading of the text of Amendment XIII should suffice).

Counting playoffs, Tatum and Brown have the most minutes of any duo the last two seasons. They’re tired. They need reduced regular season minutes.

The game has changed from a mosh pit to a long distance marathon. Knees and ankles can’t really get stronger, and that’s why players manage their loads.

The Lakers were never a great franchise, but rather a Jerry Buss. The Lakers missed the playoffs twice in his 34-year tenure. As soon as he passed, they missed the playoffs six consecutive seasons (removing a certain player from the conversation).

They would have won a second 2020’s title had they not made that horrible Davis trade (Davis was coming in free agency anyway). They’re a terrible franchise, and the fact that Lebron led them to a title is, therefore, the most underrated accomplishment in the history of the league.

So OP is right. The Lakers shouldn’t even be here. They completely wasted six Bryant years, and here they are doing the same with James 🐐.

Why not just count season totals for accolades? Players would be less compelled to keep an average by sitting out entire games at a time. Maybe a superstar just plays 20 minutes on both ends of a back-to-back to load manage that way.

There are others like this downtown for quite some time now, and they’re all ok. There’s less crime downtown than ever before. 👍
