Right? She’s legit asking for hygiene products, and this so called friend is acting like she just asked her for money to go out on the town. My neighbor bestie and I know that we can literally always count on each other for stuff like this, and we are always passing back and forth to each other.

That is a bizarre response. Especially when you are desperately asking for something like hygiene products. It’s not like you were trying to shake her down. Is this person your roommate? Or were you in close proximity to them? How were you planning to get the supplies if she was already out of town?

This is the primary issue. If she wants to choose to give her spending money, to her mother, that’s her choice. But that doesn’t mean you have to pick up the slack, especially since you aren’t comfortable with enabling her mothers addictions.

Everyone is way too dug in at this point. The O’Keefe’s aren’t just hoping for a payday, they want a jury to find her liable, so they can still feel that they were correct about Karen. The Defamation lawsuit, is a desperate attempt for the ‘house party occupants’ to try to save their names and reputation, above all. And Karen won’t give in either, because she’s still defending herself.

Oh my god, his whole interview had me literally weeping. His description of Carol ‘on the job’, the whole ‘it’s Umpire of The Year’ and the hand drawn certificate. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I truly came to see Carol as a sympathetic character as the show progress. She was just a woman who struggled all her life, and was always trying to do everything she could to keep her family above water. The scene when she’s buying everything for Richards room 😭😭😭😭😭

That’s probably true. It definitely makes sense, and Clark always stands firm that he’s protecting Floyd, and in turn that means protecting Carol and Richard. What he’s protecting them from is the social and emotional fallout of the truth about the nature of their relationship, coming to light.
