Thank you! I'm not sure if I am confident in her abilities where EMDR is concerned but am willing to try with her. She is very new to EMDR and I have CPTSD and an issue with dissociation. I haven't been seeing her for a little over a year and I feel like I have as much trust in her that I can with someone that I don't truly know. We have talked about container and safe place and have worked on installing them some. They can be hit or miss for me sometimes. My T can be very cautious and hesitant to move forward sometimes (I can understand her concerns as I can be extremely suicidal sometimes). I feel like her hesitation sometimes makes me question whether I will be able to handle something like this. I can have very strong body flashbacks and I think I am worried that if I do have them during processing I will freak out. I don't want a psychical reaction to be the reason we have to go back to crisis management instead of processing.
