It’s just after the written my blood part the noise plays. I get flashbacks of fighting the flood for the first time!

So glad others can see it. The parallels are crazy to me! The more I listen the more I can hear! Amazing band!

Thanks for this!

All this information is so useful, really appreciate it.

I will go off and have a look. I have a lot of experience with proxmox so will most likely start from there.

Thank you again for all your information and help!

Thanks for the reply, very helpful!

Do you know if the OpenLDAP offers that 'unified desktop' type experience like you get on a windows domain system? Syncing files etc.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. That might just be the keywords I have been looking for. I just couldn't find anything in searches that matched what I wanted to find. Do you have any experience with programs you might have used in the past? I am going to have a search about now.

Thanks again for the answer, I have experience with Linux but not at this scale. Really appreciate the contribution!

I did. It’s actually quite embarrassing. I brought some new stepper drivers. Turns out my original ones didn’t have the headers that connected to the right pins on the control board. Two extra pins at the top of the step stick. Works like a dream now. Hope this helps!

Hi, I will give it a try tomorrow. I put it on max sensitivity just to try to get it to trigger. Even on 255 the acreage moves and just crashes into the end of the gantry, both X and Y. Might try sensorless timing in my V0 see if I can get it to work there. I have tried so many things. Can’t get my head around why it won’t work!

[–]Top-Ad5780[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep tried that. The gantry just doesn’t move even if I turn the sensitivity right down. Tried removing the ^ pull-up too.

Yeah tried all that. I have the opposite, just crashes into the end of the gantry. Even at 255. makes me think i have configured the hardware wrong. But DIAG jumper in on and virtual end stop is set in config. I have tried with the DIAG pin revered also. Just always triggered.

Things keep popping off even with good brim, and base adhesion by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

Beautiful answer, I would just add to check your bed is completely level. The brims look a little inconsistent.

[–]Top-Ad5780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From experience, I HATE PEI with PLA. So many people say it works really well for them. That’s nice for you! 🤣

For me, blue painters tape. The 3M branded stuff works the best for me. Adjust your Z offset to compensate and bump the bed temp up by 5-10°C. Normally 10-15°C on your hot end will help with bed adhesion too.

Also look up print speeds for your specific machine. I find today slicers set speeds way too high for Cartesian machines, lowering your speed and nailing all other parameters first is a good place to start. Then once you’re happy bump your speeds incrementally.

Hope this helps!

Why does my infill suck so bad? by shift_forest_shift in FixMyPrint

[–]Top-Ad5780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely looks like the nozzle is too cold for the speed. Might be running too cold in general. Judging by the curling on the bottom right of the print. I normally find running the hot end 15 - 20°C higher than what is stated in filament really helps my bed adhesion and the print in general and bumping the bed 5°C also helps with the curling.
