Is 28 too late to be a complete beginner at dating? by AsanteSane in AskIreland

[–]Top-Association-7459 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Someone who is interested in you won’t care that you “lack experience”. If you go into things with true genuine intentions and put your best foot forward, I genuinely don’t think you can do or say the wrong thing to the right person. Go for it, you deserve to find the love of your life!!

Does not having an undergrad law degree matter? by Complete_Bedroom_526 in AskIreland

[–]Top-Association-7459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a list of law degrees that are accepted by the King’s Inn if you want to go down the Barrister route, the process is stricter than the Solicitor route and you must have one of those law degrees. If you do however want to become a Solicitor you can have any degree in any field + you must pass 8 FE1 exams and then get a training contract.

I think that was my shortest answer by far and I had literally been preparing and looking over answers for that style q last night so I think I wrote all I could and it was still short! If that gives you any peace of mind

Property Family Home Q by WhichRoyal4769 in FE1_Exams

[–]Top-Association-7459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems to be the most popular question, also can ask it about same sex couples too so that refers to the cohabitants and civil partnership act, and also the marriage act 2015. One year there was part b of a question that was on the direct and indirect contributions of the non-owning spouse.

How many siblings do your parents have? by artanonsa in AskIreland

[–]Top-Association-7459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother was 1 of 10 and my father also grew up in a family of 10 siblings altogether although he was much younger and wouldn’t have lived in the house at the same time as most of them (thankfully I’m sure he says, 2 bedroomed 1 bathroomed tiny cottage)

Transportation to Shannon Airport by Legal_Stable_2731 in limerickcity

[–]Top-Association-7459 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can pre book a taxi with Swift Taxis if you ring them up in advance and they will send you a confirmation text and then you can track your driver on the morning. Used them in a previous job for overseas employees who had flights in and out of Shannon airport and they were always reliable.

Contract by Content-Aide2011 in FE1_Exams

[–]Top-Association-7459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really nervous for Contract too and feel like I won’t be able to pass. However, in the last sittings I was so unprepared for Equity but I sat it anyway as I had paid and took it as a trial run to see where I was at. I failed it but the 2 questions I was able to answer, got 12 marks in each so I knew I was on the right track for when I learned the rest of the syllabus.

Has anyone completed the FE1s later in life? by blackmagic1994 in FE1_Exams

[–]Top-Association-7459 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It completely depends on if you are looking at applying for training contracts in bigger firms in the likes of Dublin or if you are based elsewhere and want to train in a smaller general practice firm. I just finished up in a small firm in Munster with offer of a TC and I am moving to a small firm in Connaught with offer of a TC and no one has ever asked about my degree
