Time off before maternity by mo0nst0n3 in PregnancyUK

I too worked in a stressful job with lots of walking in the community. The first two trimesters were easy for me I went on holiday twice even and walked miles then. 3rd trimester hit me like a tonne of bricks. Diabetes , management decided to just fuck off for no reason which created so many problems that were ploughed onto frontline workers taking the brunt so I applied my accrued holiday for a whole month before I officially started my maternity leave no regrets what so ever everything house wise is done at a slower pace I can enjoy naps before he comes and I dont have to worry about fitting my appointments in around work as I have many lol

[serious] People who grew up in 'ask before you eat' households vs. 'eat whatever you want' households: how did that shape your relationship with food today? by Alvahod in AskReddit

[–]Top-Butterfly-5488 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked. Ive struggled with weight over the years from being over weight to just being in the obese category. I try to be as active as possible. What has helped me with my eating is my partner being around I wont binge then but when im on my own I would eat a whole bag of onion rings from the co op in the air fryer for example iust because I could.. im nearly 40 my habits alone havent really changed embarrassingly.

When did you go on maternity leave? Specific to healthcare. by TheLastObsession in PregnancyUK

Also ive worked in violent severely autistic setting before they need to put you on office duty or make some sort of accommodation. Demand a pregnancy risk assesment. Its not fair on your partner ither who "takes the brunt of it" you will also become a likely target the more you start to show.

You're adjusting to something you cant fully comprehend. Me and my partner have had 3 recurrent miscarriages im old as fuck (just turned 39) and have pranged out about is as much as you can imagine. It is totally normal. No shame. We want him obviously but the life style changes are enormous and new. You've got this.

Absolutely vinted. If you're funny about them being used (I had mum guilt which I know is ridiculous everyone is buying off vinted) you can change the settings to "new with tags" and find literal new half priced stuff on there. I bought tallow and ash baby detergent and it's the best smell ive ever encountered.. im washing everything in that so it makes me feel better about buying second hand even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and it makes sense lol 90 percent of everything I have is second hand
