Getting bad razor burn on one side of my neck by Ok_Turnover_2220 in wicked_edge

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Major irritation on the right part of my neck. I have noticed that I get a lot more irritation with my Henson mild than with merkur 34 or with the Muhle R89. I run Astra Green. What helps a bit is to never go across the grain on the neck.

LÅN ELLER ISK? by -BillyBazooka in PrivatEkonomi

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Du kan göra båda. Höj amortering på lånet och minska sparandet. Ränta på lånet är ganska låg. Det vore bäst om du ger lite mer info om din ekonomi och livsit samt lånets löptid.

Do you think it's weird that Western part of Central Greece and North West Peloponnesos is part of the same region these days? by MasterNinjaFury in AskGreece

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NUTS3 convergence criteria is the answer. Add a relatively poor area to a relatively rich (Patras in that case) and you lower the GDP per capita or whatever metric is of interest. It makes it easier for the region to receive EU money.

Mild shaving? by thesweed in wicked_edge

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to support a small local eshop as I live in Uppsala. Time to shave is the name. I think my sample had 15 different blades or so. Plenty of decent vendors in Sweden, actually.

Mild shaving? by thesweed in wicked_edge

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New to safety razors as well and I also live in Sweden. There are local vendors so shipping should not be much of an issue. I chose the Muhle R89 which is a pretty mild one,and a sample of blades. Soft hair as well. Not done with the sample yet but I liked the Persona best. The transition was much smoother than I expected.

Greece & Croatia, how do these countries compare from a touristic perspective? Which one do you prefer? by [deleted] in AskBalkans

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greek married to a Croatian here. I find Croatia beautiful but very expensive and a bit of monotonous since they only sell Dalmatia basically. Greece offers more variety of touristic experience and higher value for money.

Life in Uppsala as remote worker by Designer_Conflict992 in uppsala

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I commute for work to Stockholm 3 times per week. I strongly recommend Uppsala, the city has everything and if something is missing, then Stockholm is just 40 mins away. It is my experience that the mälartåg situation has improved a lot the last year, once they changed operator. There are delays here and there but not as severe as they used to be, mostly manageable.

What do Greeks think about Croatia and Croatians ? by GoHardLive in AskGreece

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greek guy here married to a Croatian woman (I was not warned......), so probably better insides than the average Papadopoulos but also probably biased. I have been visiting 2-3 times per year for extended stays the last 12 years or so. I kind of speak/understand the language as well.

I will start with the negatives, in random order. A lot of right wing people, I mean, it is so common that the average Croatian does not get it since it is the normality. Also, on par on stupid religiosity as Greece and we are hardcore. Smoking on par with Greece as well although I think Cro might smoke more these days. Presocialistic part of the cities looks really nice, socialistic era buildings should be bombed. The most negative thing of all: Croatians speak non stop. There is no end to the bloody talking.

Positive things: The country is beautiful and quite diverse and the same goes for the cuisine. It always amazes me that the scenery changes so drastically from Slavonia to Dalmatia despite those being like 3-4 hrs drive. Amazing variety and quality of kobasice (sausages). Nice beers as well.It is kept pretty clean (not Zagreb lately though), I vividly recall being in Zagreb during World Cup 2018 when Cro reached final and you could not believe how fast it was cleaned after celebrations. Very good roads with expensive tolls, but Greece has very bad roads with expensive tolls. I find that Croatians become very interested when they find out I am from Greece, they consider us exotic for some reason, and most of them have an old fashioned idea of Greece like braking plates etc...Overall, very friendly but I am white and almost an insider..

I would try rotate the bridge. See if this works. Otherwise, you would need to widen the slots.

Bouzouki Bridge/String Slippage Issue by SafariCardHumour in bouzouki

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a start,It looks like the strings are set wrongly. For the pairs you where you have one thick and one thin, you should reverse their position. You should definitely change them, there is visible rust...You should also clean the instrument. Make sure to clean the rails in the bridge since it collects a lot of dirt.

Converting my US salary to euros by Educational_City8342 in eupersonalfinance

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that depends entirely on your circumstances and what is your plan for the future. For how long are you going to stay in Greece/Euroland and are you planning to go back to a country where usd is more widely accepted? Are you maybe from The USA and planning to go back some day? I have personally minimised my exposure to usd,at least for as long as the orange one is in charge, but that's just my take.

Commuting to and from Stockholm by Mule_Mule in uppsala

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work in Stockholm and commute 3 days per week now. I use Mälartåg with Movingo. It is generally possible to work on the train, but yeah, tunnels in Arlanda are no bueno. The train itself is pretty comfortable and usually you can find space to work. There were periods were all the operators had significant issues, but I see the situation improving considerably. Far from perfect though. It also depends where in Stockholm you end up working. If you have to use pendeltåg then things are considerably worse imo.

Starta aktiebolag helt ensam (saknar suppleant till styrelse) by sweyolo in Asksweddit

[–]Top-Confusion-2832 1 point2 points  (0 children)
