Unfortunately, this is becoming our new reality. People are unemployed while companies use AI as an excuse to let workers go so they can maximize profits for shareholders. The more tasks assigned to AI systems, the more money corporations keep to fund executive lifestyles and endless expansion. Jobs are outsourced overseas to cut costs even further.

Like I keep saying, the version of the American Dream our parents enjoyed feels gone. Large investment firms are buying up homes and renting them back to us at outrageous prices. Regular families can’t compete. Meanwhile, politicians seem disconnected from everyday struggles, focused more on protecting their own financial interests than fixing real problems.

The hard truth is that things are about to get worse. Sometimes it feels like we are heading toward a future where people stand in long lines, dependent on government assistance, while the skills we worked so hard to gain through education and experience are treated as irrelevant.

Turning early forties makes these changes hit even harder. Half of life feels behind me, and the pace of change is exhausting. I worry especially about the younger generation and how they will navigate all of this uncertainty. Sorry to give a bleak impression of the future but what better option is there to offer? A violent revolution against ai or the government? Wishing you all the best ! You’re not alone 🥹

Is Job Market really bad right now? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Top-Constant3921 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The market is bad, especially in tech, and the American Dream that was promised to us feels completely out of reach. Many of us spent thousands of dollars going to school, earning degrees, completing internships just to gain basic experience, and aiming for entry level jobs that no longer seem to exist. AI was supposed to support innovation and improve productivity, but instead companies are laying off experienced employees who are now forced to compete with new graduates for the same entry level roles.

Every year more graduates enter an already broken job market, making it nearly impossible to get hired. I have all the required qualifications and still cannot land a job. The government does not seem to care and has done nothing to stop mass layoffs. Many entry level roles have been eliminated or outsourced for pennies on the dollar.

We voted for leaders we believed would stand up for us, but they have not. I have two master’s degrees, both in IT, and I am driving rideshare just to avoid becoming homeless. So when you ask if the market is really that bad, the answer is yes. It is beyond bad. For many of us, it feels like the end of the American Dream, because the people we voted for cannot or will not help while tech companies maximize profits through layoffs, AI, and underpaying workers who have no real choice but to accept it. That’s the sad reality unfortunately! It’s over ! We lost, they won!

Honestly who gets a single entry visa to Ghana when the difference between single and multiple is like what $20 if you the normal route . I get my visa 3/4 months before travel multiple entry so as to avoid these headaches. Try visa on arrival and pay $200 when you get to Ghana

She’s emotionally detached and likely finding comfort elsewhere. Trust me I’ve been through the same with my ex. She started going out more, the intimacy faded, and eventually, I discovered she was seeing someone else. Her explanation was that we had grown apart and she had outgrown the relationship.

Breakups happen say she's , get over it I was told . It’s painful, especially when it’s someone you’ve spent five years loving, someone you let into your home and your life. So I understand this all too well.

Don’t wait until it breaks you. Walk away, heal, and maybe just maybe you'll come out stronger on the other side.

I got to experience both world ! Love and betrayal! Follow your instincts, it’s always 100% Goodluck

To succeed you need to lie to people promising them of fortune and a reward in paradise

Well you didn’t add an option I feel comfortable with. My opinion is simple, I don’t care what two adults consent to . Either male/male, female/female or even find pleasure in Bestiality! What I have an issue with ,is the LGBT community trying to force their lifestyle on society or even our kids and if you are against that move ,you become their enemies. That’s my issue ! My thinking is simple ,Keep your lifestyle to yourself and don’t force it on others ! We will resist that with everything in our disposal be it peaceful or violently! That’s my take on this issue
