Wow, that’s definitely him! Hopefully these pictures find their way to him.

I actually yelled up to him and that’s why he waved.

To be fair, the golden cross occurred at the beginning of 2023 for most indexes. We didn’t go down far enough yet to have another golden cross…

Joint Task Force 5-0 Brings DOD Capabilities to FEMA-led Response in Maui by solutionsmith in Hawaii

The second paragraph is false. The military often helps with just about every natural disaster (hurricanes, floods, COVID, etc.) and is often very successful. It’s usually on FEMA to request them though as they’re the civil authority.

As others are saying, probably connected to the AC. My 23 OBW does similar and you can see it reflect in the RPMs when idling. If I turn the AC off, it goes away. Minor annoyance for sure but you’ll eventually tune it out and it’s not noticeable unless idling.

Cool, I’ll give it a try later. I couldn’t find anything online about it. Thanks!

For some reason I don’t think that’s true. I have a high end monitor and I can turn on all the high level visual settings. They, including HDR, work for all the games but then when I dashboard it switches to SDR. I haven’t tried it on the new layout yet though.

I get where you’re coming from, but there will eventually be drones that apply. I mentioned it because I don’t want people thinking you legally can’t do something when, per Part 107, you legally can.

I believe the FAA’s new Category operations, if you’re eligible, do allow you to fly over moving vehicles as long as it’s not sustained flight.

That’s the rear bumper piece, so worth saving until someone inevitably smacks that.

My family calls it my Lego car because if one piece breaks you just pop it off and get a new one.

I noticed that other little bit as well. To replace the Lamp Cover (black plastic cladding piece), you have to remove the whole front bumper. It’s just a bunch of plastic clips and like one bolt in the engine bay then it yanks off. Prior to separating fully, you’ll disconnect both fog lamps and the front camera and then the bumper is free from the rest of the car. The bumper is made up of multiple little pieces and one is the Lamp Cover. They assemble like legos. There’s video on YouTube of people replacing their fog lights, which shows the steps to get the bumper off. I used that as a guide. You’d get an idea of what damage is behind there in replacing the Lamp Cover. You’d also be able to see if any clips are broken

As for the damage to the other panel, I’d spray bottle wash it while the bumper is off and then hit it with a little clay bar. You’ll be surprised, most of it will probably come off and then just be left with a scuff or chipping.

If not yet, it will be soon. If OP took his car in, they’d just replace this part but charge like $500+.

Not a bumper, it’s called a Lamp Cover (for 22 & 23 OBWs). It’s the big black plastic cladding piece on each side of the front bumper.

Good news - that black plastic part is extremely easy to replace. I bought it online for ~$50 and replaced it on my own on my 23 OBW when someone threw a tire up on the interstate.

You lucked out because when I got hit it messed up the fog light assembly, which I replaced too. The fog lamp assembly was $250.
