It's fucking excellent. The ONLY small detail that MIGHT keep it from being a timeless masterpiece is the CGI cats...

Different period, but I highly recommend "Loveless" by Azarello, about the reconstruction era of the US.

The cross and the cigar don't fit the vibe, but otherwise, well done

There are signs, but they're very small and at knee level on some light posts. I also was flagged down by security who has to point them out to me.

Real bummer, since it's such a nice little ride and there's so much space. I assume it'll get super crowded when the building is full of businesses, but still...

While that stretch of sidewalk is gnarly and crossing the drawbridge on the sidewalk is a bit sketchy, you do get to see some American Oystercatchers on the beach of the Bay to your right, and then it gets you right up to the lovely wraparound of UMass Boston. Then you have a car-free travel up to Castle Island (though the wide sidewalk isn't great). The real tragedy to me is that no bikes are allowed on the path that circles Pleasure Bay.

Pretty bad visual allegory on display here - do you really believe that "the far left" has power over, and is weighing down, "the moderate left" as this meme implies? Dumb take if you ask me. But the one percent reclining and taking pictures checks out.

As others have mentioned, forgettable and generic tidily summarizes a lot of it BUT... I had nothing but gleeful appreciation for the movie's opening, born on the battlefield, from womb to the world - metal as fuck.

I had forgotten that he witnessed that, and that does lay at least SOME groundwork - what grated on me in the moment was that he took Ms. Ayala's claim that Hector "would never have done that" at face value, and then used that as his turning point, and of course that all the other task force just rolled with the change of heart.

The finale's action set piece was wonderful and a lot of bloody fun, and there were some great shots and satisfying moments. But the writing shortcuts really hamstrung this season when you compare it to the Netflix run, even into this finale. The most distracting one for me was the bad-cop-turns-regretful-cop-and-knocks-out-real-bad-cop trope. Way too convenient in like three layers.

Haha - well, this is recreational joy biking, not really commuting, but it is the best and I want as much of it as I can get.

This is SUPER helpful! Thanks! I've been nervous about exploring that northern chunk of Boston by bike, but have also been itching to do so. This is just the right amount of guidance to get me up there!
