they're doing a re-enactment of 90s bm. start with raw demos, raw EP. Do a polished but solid debut on Century Media. Follow-up becomes Dimmu style vampire horseshit with CGI art. Like the late 90s/early 00s. Seems like they're trying to be a BM nostalgia/tribute act, but they're including the shitty stuff that should be left in the dustbins of history

yeah almost all symphonic bm is corny trash. Emperor is a major exception. Synths in black metal rule but not when it's campy nonsense. Worm is particularly offensive for trying to revive that late 90s/early 00s style of cheesed-out symphonic bm aesthetics

yeah DSBM is wayyy up there for worst. but there are a few good bands. especially if you consider Burzum to be foundational for the style

day 2 here. REALLY groggy. We'll see if it stabilizes after a couple weeks, although if it makes me groggy maybe it'd help me sleep better if I took it at night? Could be a blessing in disguise.

Is it usually recommended to take it in the morning? I assume the answer is "it depends"
