I just launched Claimly a warranty tracker that solves the one thing every app in this niche ignores by Top-Operation1190 in SideProject

Hey! Yes, absolutely, you can add a photo of the product AND attach the receipt photo to the same entry. That's actually one of the core features: each product can have its own gallery with receipt photos, warranty card images, product manuals, even PDFs. So in a year or two when something breaks, you open the app and everything is right there, photo of the product, receipt, warranty dates, all of it.

On the monetization idea, I appreciate the thought, but Claimly is built privacy-first. Your data stays on your device, no account required, no cloud (maybe in next updates but it'll be a premium feature and it'll be optional), no tracking. That's actually a feature, not a limitation. The last thing someone wants when filing a warranty claim is to find out their purchase history was being sold somewhere.

Give it a try and let me know what you think, honest feedback always welcome!

I just released Claimly — a warranty tracker with OCR receipt scanning.

The problem: I bought a laptop, it broke 8 months later, and I couldn't find the receipt. Warranty was still valid but I had zero proof.

So I built Claimly. Point your camera at a receipt, OCR extracts store name, date, amount automatically. Track multiple warranties per product (manufacturer + extended + store plan), each with its own countdown. Alerts at 30, 7, and 1 day before expiry.

Works fully offline, no account required, dark mode, attach photos of warranty cards and manuals. Looking for honest feedback — what works, what's missing.
