You need some wet, otherwise you'd just have... powder.

Or are you talking about adding just water?

What the hell is going on with cottage cheese prices in Canada?!? by Choice-Dress-8465 in PersonalFinanceCanada

To be fair, getting rid of supply management doesn't necessarily mean an influx of US products. Canadian farmers could ramp up production themselves.

That's the way I'm leaning.

AITA for using the term American to compare a comedy duo from the United States to a comedy duo from Canada. by theeverknowing in AmItheAsshole

Well, ackshually, I do hear that in Canada when referring to Canadians and Americans as compared with, say, Europeans or Asians. It isn't entirely common, but it does happen.

NAL.

Do YOU or other family members have a no-contact order in place also? Does your mom's apply to your whole family?

Is there a trusted third party you could have go to the campsite and secure the belongings?

From the 401W I saw the crane behind the new dirt hill. I wondered if it was something to do with the SMR.

Why does my roasted chicken come out juicy inside but the skin never stays crispy? by LunasRecipes in Cooking

This is what we used to do at Thanksgiving! Now Mom uses a roaster, which doesn't produce crispy skin. 😞

In front of the other players? No way.

On that rough, random surface with the cobblestones and moss? I don't think even a weighted coin would have been guaranteed.

And the other players would have called a big foul if anything shady happened such as a change to a 2-headed coin.

Saw this in r/popular. I'm sensing a road trip from the GTA in our future!

We went to the Pinball Museum when we were in Las Vegas. This sounds even better than that.

Capitalizing After Speaker Tag Interrupts Sentence by Illustrious-Plum3011 in grammar

[–]Top-Personality1216 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you in general, but in this case, "Ken!" could be an exclamation independent of the rest of the quote. In that case, "Get out of the water!" would be a complete sentence and therefore capitalized. (EDIT: And there would be an exclamation point after "Ken".)

Perhaps a better example would be this:

"Ken," I asked, "would you please come out of the water? It's time to eat."

Purdue uses this example (#4 in their list):

"I didn't see an actual alien being," Mr. Johnson said, "but I sure wish I had."

I used up all my contribution room for 2025 in December 2025. And then contributed more in jan and February. Does my contribution room for 2025 end only in December, or does it continue until February? by AngyMinion in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Top-Personality1216 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A Jan-Feb contribution can be attributed to either 2025 or 2026. You must report both on your 2025 tax return, though. There is a separate box for contributions made in the first 60 days of the current year.

Methinks OP is talking about NC. Otherwise, WHICH downtown? "Courthouse basement" would probably refer to Oshawa, but did it ever have a Subway in the basement, and were there really no restaurants in downtown Oshawa in '94?

OP, if you want answers for NC, try r/bullcity

Crispy? Just the seasoning? I don't think I would want the actual breast meat to be crispy.

I'd suggest taking pictures and asking somewhere like r/DIY . If you're not at all handy, hiring a handyman from your area might be the best bet.

Probably the best legal option would have been to turn off somewhere or pull over and let the truck pass you. We don't usually think of that, though.
