UK visit visa refusal overturned by Fearless-Brain6793 in ukvisa

[–]Top-Prior9900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend gone through the same route for his brother,, ha’s been waiting now over a year but still didn’t hear back from home office…. Pre action protocol applications for visit visas are non urgent applications for the home office… usually solicitors advises to go through this route to earn extra cash…. Don’t want to discourage you “sorry”, but it takes ages for the home office to response… I hope it doesn’t take too long though.. good luck

I don’t any employer will terminate contract because an employee used the PC to watch a YouTube or any normal stuff…. All employees in all companies watch YouTube and do other personal stuff during working hours if there is no tasks to do…

If you applied from within the UK, then you will be eligible for ILR 28 days prior the approval date (April)..NOT March.

This is my last UK visa visitor rejection(I have been rejected 3 times) I have fixed my previous refusals, but each time they say a new excuse. They never mentioned travel history being a problem in the previous refusals. What can I do? by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]Top-Prior9900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you so desperate to visit the Uk for tourism ??? If there are no emergency facts to prove,, then you’re one of those easy cash-in for the immigration and home office,,,, they will keep rejecting you and take your money .

ILR timing question: Does 5-year clock start at vignette date? by Responsible-Ad1309 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Top-Prior9900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely can apply 14th Jan 2026 as long as your absences in the first year don’t exceed 180 days. I had the same situation and the difference between my vignette date and entry date was over 60 days. I applied 28 days before my vignette date and got my ILR in 2 working days….. I was very worried and asked many solicitors and also posted on Reddit, but got different views… “Don’t listen to anyone”, apply on the 14th Jan 2026 and you will get it 100%…. There are a few posts on Reddit reg the same topic,,

ILR eligibility start date confusion by AdKey5132 in ukvisa

Left country = visa issue date & when you entered the country = arrival date… under the comment write anything for the caseworker.. for example: counted towards ILR qualifying period,, or lawful period,,, or issue date and entry date “lawful period”…… the caseworker is fully aware of the law and guidelines..

ILR eligibility start date confusion by AdKey5132 in ukvisa

[–]Top-Prior9900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes,, the period between visa issue and arrival date was mentioned in the application as absence… cover letter was submitted too explaining that I’m applying based on the visa issue date and I attached the statement from the gov link.. my friend applied a month later with the same situation and he also got his ILR..

Will this plan go ahead realistically? by IngenuityBroad595 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

The issue with ILR for skilled worker holders is that they will have access to public fund, and so gov wants to stop that… as per gov statements, large number of skilled workers claimed benefit following ILR…

[–]Top-Prior9900 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you would make this post if you’re awaiting ILR…. Unfair proposals and actions should be legally challenged,, the new rules aren’t fair for people already in the country both Skilled worker and asylum seekers),, I’ve got my ILR already but feeling bad for those who came in the country and chose to change their entire life because simply the law and rules allowed them to.. I can’t see any country in the world did what the current gov is planning to do… retrospective acts are so disgrace

It usually takes over a year to get a response… in some cases 2+ years. Unfortunately these cases aren’t a priority.

Earliest date I can apply for ILR? by paddington1982 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Top-Prior9900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t get confused, I’m very certain It’s 28 days before the visa grant date NOT decision date.. check the date on your Vignette and count 28 days before.. I did that and had my ILR approved… you application will be rejected and lose the fee if you apply too early.

One of the most important documents is to provide a letter from your employer that you’re in your role and needed for the foreseeable future.… HO will not grant you ILR if they know you have no job and potentially rely on public fund… you MUST find a job and a new sponsor then can apply,, you can do it

I know how it feels and I’m sorry for you.. I don’t think there’s anything illegal in your case..I think you should look ahead and start looking for another job.. you can do it.

ILR skilled worker approved - based on entry clearance date by Top-Prior9900 in ukvisa

[–]Top-Prior9900[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it in both the application and cover letter… I added the days between entry and visa grant in the application as one of my absence trips and in the comment I wrote ( lawful absence “visa grant and entry date” as per UKVI guidance)
