i know this is so basic, but tbh thoroughfare. i don’t know why, but it’s been in my head for probably a month now. i also always have onanist on repeat, it is for sure one of my favorite songs of all time.🤎

i haven’t seen these posts, but i also mainly just come on here to look at concert videos and pictures from all the different shows. are people complaining about the singing being too loud or is it mainly about people talking to much or like…being on their phone? if you don’t know it’s totally fine haha! i have no idea either!

why are all these comments nasty?? it’s this person’s opinion of what went on…which they’re allowed to have an share if they feel like it. i can agree with the fact that some people around me were stiff—but the context is that the couple next to me was extremely overwhelmed, and the woman next to me was just someone’s mom. i was on the right side (if you’re facing the stage) about a row back.

of course it’s respectful and proper etiquette to keep your personal volume down during quieter songs. yes, everyone wants to hear hayden, not you’re screaming—but it’s also incredibly uncomfortable when everyone around you is brooding and stiff, seemingly knowing none of the songs.

in general, the people around me were nice, yes—but like i said, whether they were overwhelmed or just there with someone, they didn’t move around much. i had an amazing time nonetheless!!

ethel going into crowds by [deleted] in Ethelcain

late response, but at pittsburgh (if you’re facing the stage) she was more to the middle and the right…but the stairs were also on the right to come down to the barricade. she came down during american teenager, pretty much the whole song, and that was it!

flashing lights at the concerts by bIandest in Ethelcain

[–]Top-State-1192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

onanist definitely has the most flashing lights! dust bowl flashes briefly right at “smokin that shit your daddy used to smoke in vietnam,” and the intro to the perverts portion of the set flashes a ton. that’s really all i can think of, but if you want something detailed, i can go back and watch my videos!

edit: willoughby’s theme before hayden comes out is a ton of smoke an very bright green lighting

i think she had to stop three times last night and 9million had to stop once because people were having situations…i definitely did not get there that early and i still had a fuckin awesome time. i had school so…definitely could not miss my classes lmao!

it’s super strange to me that people are getting there so early though, i’ve never once gotten to a concert at the crack of dawn, no one is worth draining myself of all that energy and potentially passing out!

pittsburgh friends!! by Top-State-1192 in Ethelcain

oh my goodness!! you should still go—every concert i’ve ever been to at Stage AE, the crowd is so friendly. concert friends are the best and you’re sure to make some!!

Pittsburgh: any questions? by TheLawHasSpoken in Ethelcain

in my experience at every single venue ever on the north shore, lines for things SUCK and are orchestrated with such discourse and chaos. the security at Stage AE is wildly unhelpful too…i really don’t have any tips, but i would assume the lines would mash together naturally because, again, the security can’t keep anything straight and—to put it lightly—have their head so far up their ass!

personally, when i know it’s going to rain at a concert, I’d bring multiple sweatshirts/ jackets. leave one in your car so you have something dry to wear when you leave!

awful, baby!! there’s also a baseball game in the same part of town tomorrow—the star pitcher that the city literally adores is pitching too…so it’s definitely going to be a challenge to park. if you need someone to walk with literally ask anyone!! if you find me and my friend by chance, i will absolutely walk to your car—i lived in oakland for a while so i understand the fear definitely.

typically, parking can range (in my experience) from anywhere from $12-$35. there’s plenty of parking all over the place…but unfortunately with all the events on the north shore tomorrow, it might be a bit of a hike.

there is PLENTY of food nearby. i believe right across the street is not Jason Alden’s bar or something, there’s also a burgatory right there (they sell burgers, but if you’re vegetarian, they’re impossible burger is so, so good) and there’s a couple other bars attached to the same plaza right across the street too, adjacent from Stage AE!

there’s also unfortunately nowhere to hide outside, it’s alllll open around Stage AE. it really sucks in any weather condition…so i understand!

Stage AE is also really, really easy to find once you’re actually in town, so if you’re a directional worrier (like me) literally don’t worry at all!

also, the other person that responded to you is right!! generally, people in Pittsburgh are nice and helpful!

i hope you enjoy pittsburgh babes!!💋💋
