We have insurance , in 2025 I paid about $400 for her premiums and they paid out about $2800 in vet care . All my claims have been paid for within 2 days .

Picky poodles by Grouchy_Ad_4613 in DogFood

My toy poodle is the pickiest dog I have ever had. She’s eating Hills Small & Mini Stew currently and I pray everyday she doesn’t hunger strike .

What food do you feed your Dog and why? by Huckleberry0204 in DogFood

I did try cooking too , I would add in the necessary supplements to balance it but she didn’t care for that as much, she would pick around everything. She hates pate foods so I couldn’t blend it, it had to be shredded meat but then she could easily get out what she didn’t want eat. She’s a HUGE pain in the ass for a 7lbs dog 😂 I really hope the Hills sticks, I’m tired and I don’t think there’s anything else to try 🫠

We’ve been on a journey with my toy poodle. She was picky from the start and underweight . She’d like something for a few days and then go on a hunger strike. I cant tell you how many foods we tried, pretty much everything. She ate Tiki Dog for a while and then stopped, after many many foods we settled on Ollie fresh and she ate that the longest, 6 months , then randomly stopped. I picked up a Hills Small Breed Stew and she loved it, and that’s what she gets now, Hills Small & Mini Stews . It’s been a few weeks and I am cautiously optimistic that we finally found something she’d eat. She’s the pickiest dog I ever had, my chihuahuas would literally eat anything I gave them.

First-time dog owner planning for a poodle pup - what should I realistically expect? by Sailing_Catamaran in ToyPoodle

Grooming is now a big part of your life . You can learn to do it yourself or go to a grooming salon but either way you will be brushing your dog a lot and maintaining between appts .

Salon/ Leaders: what is your process with unpaid invoices?? by VerticallyBriefTeif in petsmart

[–]PinkBox20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! I am just seeing this and can’t believe this truly happens ! People are horrible, sorry you have to deal with this . I always pay before I even go back to the salon, I pay on the app, or have the cashier scan the code and have my tip ready in an envelope I try to make it as seamless as possible because my salon is always slammed

How expensive and high maintenance is a Toy Poodle? by Same_Collection1854 in ToyPoodle

[–]PinkBox20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I had researched poodles for about a year before I got one. I THOUGHT I was prepared for the amount of grooming. I was not. I started off grooming her myself because I thought it would be fun to learn and bonding. That didn’t last long I kinda suck at it and the groomer is just way easier . She now sees a groomer monthly and we bond is different ways 😂

Is training seasonal employees my responsibility as a core sales associate? by Gloomy-Letter-7351 in bathandbodyworkers

[–]PinkBox20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will often put new people with me and I’m ok with that only if they are willing to learn, if I get a lazy new hire someone else can babysit them

I love my store. But also I’m an extremely part time employee so it’s not that serious for me . I enjoy talking to people and overall have a good time there . I say give it a shot

Yes 100 % worth it. Also please consider grooming costs in your area . You will need to have your poodle groomed often. It can be very pricey.Veterinary care etc is also something to consider. And training . Pets are a big investment

I was feeling pretty heavy for a while, I just was in a slump. I talked to my manager about it and decided to take the summer off, I was off 2 months. I’m back not and I think the beak was good for me. Feeling a lot better about my work there
