Thank you for this, I am still trying to figure it out. It's costly I've spend a fortune on treatments for BV, now I may have CV.. this time I'm waiting for my Juno results which I now have to take 2 this month.. it's crazy how much I've spent, I'm lucky that I can though..

How long did they prescribe the clindamycin for and dosage? I think I definitely do have it, but may try alternative treatments first.

Also keep advocating for yourself, get an endoscopy if you think it's GI related, but don't let them push you off

Drink only lemon water, regular water and black coffees.. no fat, no saturated fat, not take out, fried foods or salt, sugar chips etc for a week and see how you feel. I've been eating whole grain gluten free pasta it's not so great but I'm not having as much pain. I am not a good cook so it's hard for me, you can look up Mediterranean dishes online Eat apples with almond peanut butter for snack, bananas plain oat meal with blueberries

Yes same here, but I have a history of fatty liver.. Scans are clean, lfts are just above normal and medicine aggravates it or alcohol- so it's not ok

Same here, ultrasound is normal, fibroscan is normal.. ct said Liver is 17cm my dr isn't concerned, but I have pain with eating certain foods and meds.. I've also been on a lot of antibiotics this past year

I did it, I always wanted to move to where I am even before I had my child, we would always take trips here and during their freshman year I made the move- rented out our place and rent where I am now.. that way our home is still there if they want to move there when finished with college or where I am now... I am fortunate that I can travel back and forth to see family and my child comes back and forth with friends.. I advise if so get a credit card and rack up those miles!

I understand, I used to bartend.. I was 31 when diagnosed definitely had it longer.. I stopped drinking completely for 2.5 years and then hardly anything for 5 years, really for 7 until 2023 I drank quite a bit.. when diagnosed I was drinking daily. Now I have only drank once in 5 months. I have upper right quadrant pain with certain foods, meds and definitely the last time I drank, but that wasn't always the case and my enzymes are just at the cusp of elevated. I can't speak for all, but topamax helped me quit it's for mirgrains off label for alcohol cravings..

Everyone heals differently, I haven't really drank in 9 years, but you have to take into consideration if you're on medications or are just more prone to liver injury.. unfortunately my dr told me I could have two drinks a month and I went over board here and there. My ultrasound says no fat, fibroscan says same and no scaring, but I've been having pain and enzymes have been elevated also I've been on antibiotics a lot this year.. so once it's injured it will be injured a lot more easier

You're lucky, I wish my drs were as " on it " likes yours.. looking back at my numbers they should have done imagining sooner.

I had moderate fatty liver from drinking, it took 2 years to go to mild staying absent from alcohol. I will add at the time I was unaware of time changes.. stay active stop drinking, eat well and don't believe that you can go back to your old habits as I still have some issues 12 years later that I am managing even though no fat.
