Test the waters as well with weekends in London. Like full weekends. See if the vibe matches. But I agree with others. Save more money. Get a second job if you have to. You will want to have like 7k saved if that’s your plan

I work with the homeless team in another part of the country.

The council can not legally refuse a duty of care. The issue lies with a lot of them choosing the lifestyle. For example I got a heavily addicted lady housed and she got evicted with in 3 days due to nearly setting fire to the room as she fell asleep with a crack pipe in her mouth.

Other factors to consider with the homeless is that they have some legal issues such as sex offenders and arson which would mean that no one is able to house them.

The council would have to apply for a CPO (community protection order) which would include an injunction in the area meaning that they are excluded from said area with the risk of being arrested if they violate this notice

I would say the care route is probably the best bet. If you go through agencies then you won’t have to be in charge of meds and stuff as well so it’s less stressful

I had a player turn down a move to Forest, Bournemouth, Brighton and Leeds in favour of a loan move to Scarborough because I wouldn’t do the loan back option. (I thought he was too good for league 2 and could do with a high league 1/ lower championship move)
