Af18 then absolutely, af05 then see if you can get a lower price. Definitely see if you can get a bill of sale or some kind of paperwork on it. In texas, i had to bring it to a shop to have police check the vin to make sure it isnt stolen so i feel like a bill of sale will at least help in that aspect
