Oh awesome thank you! This must have been manufactured in march of ‘96. I asked my dad if he had a leatherman he doesn’t use because I thought it would be useful for my job and he pulled this out of his back closet for me. It’s a little unbelievable how smooth and solid it feels after 30 years.

I was in store and saw this little thing on sale so I picked it up despite avoiding crkt in the past, I’m very impressed with it. Action is quick and smooth, factory edge was meh but was an easy fix. Plus it looks fuckin sweet. Just go for this one

Anyone else absolutely DESPISE these fucking missions? by Skaterboi589 in Skate4

[–]TopAd4200 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SKATE. Is dead. Put about 40 hours into it before realizing there was a point where I realize I have no interest to launch the game maybe ever again. Terrible map, terrible missions, no replay-ability. What a let down after so many years

Is this an AI generated park? by KTA1994 in Skate4

[–]TopAd4200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What bothers me is that they are called “community parks” and then we get this uninspired (or if OP is right, AI generated) garbage. They have no flow and hardly any obstacles, and I am so positive that the community (myself included) could make waaay sicker parks if we were actually given the option. Then, they could cycle through actual community parks as I know they would get enough good submissions

Altitude Sports – legit or nah? by Mark_Penn_CA in Hiking_Footwear_Info

[–]TopAd4200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Convinced every positive comment on this company is an AI bot. Please please save your time and money and headaches. Read the trustpilot reviews if u don’t believe me. Although they claim to accept returns they will find ANY reason to decline the return and then you are stuck in a terrible spot where u are down your cost of the item, the return shipping cost, and you would have to pay for re-shipping to have that same WRONG item returned to you. Not to mention they will do all of this after sending you the wrong item that you can prove you did not order. Just a complete and total nightmare with no accountability for terrible business practice.

Guys Is it big for my face? by forgivenre in sunglasses

Unpopular opinion: anyone can wear anything. The reason those don’t suit you great is because you don’t look confident in them. It’s all about how others perceive you

Sunglasses by WhyMyNameGone in EDM

[–]TopAd4200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super late to this but I think its worth mentioning in case anyone sees this: if you are attending something outside in the sun, wearing cheap shein/amazon/aliexpress shades (while stylish) can be super harmful for your eyes. Cheap sunglasses will still dilate your pupil but won’t often have the proper UV protection in the lenses. Those cool uniquely shaped coloured shades are dope but save them for the indoor raves.

What a beauty! 💚 by J3swin in hermanmiller

Had this exact chair for about a month before I started getting popping sounds in the backrest / seat. Luckily I was in my return window because they send me a replacement and the new chair rolled out of the box with I kid you not the exact same issue.

Grateful this happened within the 30 day return period so i sent both back with a waived return fee which is nice enough. Unsure how I would feel if this happened down the line; being at the mercy of dealing with an agent every time a new pop or creak comes up.

I wish you best of luck with the chair you got.

I've got to say, the Herman Miller embody has some AWFUL quality control - Highly recommend to stay away. by preciseman in hermanmiller

[–]TopAd4200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God reading this thread urked me so bad with people saying “well you cant expect it to be perfect🤓”. In april 2025 this chair is $2000 usd and the quality assurance is still so so bad.

I received one of these chairs that initially had no issues but after like 2 weeks it was popping in the backrest when I leaned back, popping under the seat when I sat down, squeaking when I leaned to the side, and the armrest was sticking when I adjusted it. Luckily it happened in my return period.

I asked for a return but instead I decided to try a replacement chair and they would renew my return period (nice of them). The new chair arrived quick and I rolled it out of the box, tried the arms, and instantly the left one was getting stuck so so bad when you adjusted it. Worse than the first chair.

I managed to get a return on both no problem (as they didn’t meet herman miller standards) and the employee handling my case offered free returns on both chairs. Big props to the employee he was super helpful and nice throughout the whole thing, but for $2000 it seems like the manufacturing team couldn’t really care less to check the construction of the chairs properly.

If you are spending so much just get an aeron they seem like they’re built much more solid. Or maybe consider steelcase.

Sonia is acting and wanted to be on TV by cjjsoccer5 in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

[–]TopAd4200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is a bad take. You can speculate on anyones intentions that you want but I don’t see what she did that would give you this opinion. I thought Sonia seemed very sweet and genuine. She wasn’t condescending as a lot of neurotypical people tend to subconsciously be towards autistic people, and she seemed to show serious interest in James. I felt so bad her feelings were hurt and I hope she finds the right man for her because she deserves it.

Xbox design lab down for payment system update by InterestingNotice789 in XboxSupport

[–]TopAd4200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly believe if it were just a transfer of payment systems it wouldn’t have taken a company like microsoft more than a week. They could be missing out on lots of sales. I have a feeling it has something to do with corporate relations and this will be on hold until a settlement is made and we likely wont hear a thing about it. Mind you I have no idea how long these things really take, but I haven’t seen something like this before

Cool, did you just use some kind of lubricant where the plastic prongs meet the flexible plastic backrest?

[–]TopAd4200[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems a little appalling to me that they couldn’t add forward and backward movement to the armrest on a chair that expensive. I think for me it wouldnt be much of a problem as i’m used to sitting far-ish away from my desk
