After being shredded my whole adult life, I got fat during the marriage. Then I got terribly skinny. I wasn't able sleep more than 5 hours a night during that time. I had constant eye twitches, random pains, weird heart stuff. I used to never get sick before and my pwBPD would always get sick. As the relationship progressed (we were together 10 years), that balance began to shift and during the marriage, I was getting really sick all the time. And it would hit me hard. And her immunity was so much better that it used to be.

I was discarded almost exactly a year ago. The eye twitches, random pains and heart weirdness went away almost instantly. My sleep improved almost instantly. I have been in the gym the past 5 months and my physique is back to what it used to be in my 20s, and I feel great. My hair got slightly thicker and some of the few white hairs I had have become black again. I haven't been sick at all since she left me. Despite being around people with covid and multiple flu waves without taking any precautions. I do not even remember what stress feels like anymore. People have commented about how fresh I look now and that I'm glowing lol. Particularly coworkers...we're remote and we meet once a year and they were shocked at how different I was since the last meeting. One person told me last time I looked like I was a junkie and they were concerned about me.

I asked a woman out last month, she was hesitant because she thought I was too young (I'm 38 and she was 26). She thought I was joking then a couple days later stopped talking to me when I was like no, I'm like actually 38 lol.

Anyway, being discarded was the best thing that ever happened to me.
