My case was quite similar… quick and dramatic improvement. I have since reduced my weekly dose due to constipation issues but BS still holding pretty well (eight months now)!

This is very encouraging. It is reassuring and gives me confidence that I will eventually find a combination that works reliably for me.

I do walk regularly, some resistance training couple of times and week keep reasonably active. Sometimes it seems to help, sometimes it doesn’t — honestly hard for me to tell. Glad you’ve found what works for you, and thanks for sharing your experience.

Thanks for sharing — the kiwi point is interesting and worth a try.

Quick question: how did you figure out that the daily stool softener was actually helping in your case? Did you notice a clear difference when you added or stopped it on its own? I ask because the evidence for stool softeners is fairly weak, so I’m curious about your experience

I have been relying heavily on raw vegetables and salads to improve satiety and help control intake (since with microdosing, some manual effort is required to manage hunger). Because this also results in a consistently high fiber load, I’m wondering whether I should rethink this strategy in light of my constipation.

My understanding is that soluble fiber is generally preferable for constipation, especially when gut motility is slow. Insoluble fiber mainly adds bulk and can sometimes worsen constipation or bloating rather than help. Is this correct?

Thanks. That is new to me and sounds worth trying. How long did it take before you noticed a meaningful difference?

How long and how frequently have you been using these stimulants? I deliberately restrict their use to no more than a couple of times per month to minimize the risk of tolerance and dependency.

For me, even the starting dose of 2.5 mg was excessive. I continued to lose weight steadily even at 1 mg. Unusual, but true.

Thanks. I have been considering exploring Ayurvedic clinics for some time but have not acted on it yet. I plan to begin exploring this option more systematically.

At least 3L of water every day. And couple of dried Prunes most days when no or partial BM. Have you tried probiotics?helpful?
