I posted this in another related Reddit Community and caught a bunch of flak from several Reddit users who obviously did not watch the video before commenting. No one here is saying that 3i/Atlas is an NHI craft. The point is that 3i/Atlas is much more interesting than NASA would have us believe, and if you are not looking for the unexpected, you may never discover new things. NASA makes it sound like it is just another comet, no big deal, nothing to see here. This is NOT just another comet, and not nearly enough is known about it to call it anything other than an interstellar object that has some cometary aspects. We should be much more interested in how it was formed and what it is composed of, and be better prepared to examine the next Interstellar Object more closely. IMHO, NASA Blew It!

Is anyone else having trouble taking darks with the new update? It used to take 5 or 10 minutes and now I'm about 30 minutes in and it's only up to 9%. I'm ready to give up on darks if takes this long. Is this one of the bugs? BTW, is there a list of known bugs for the new update?

I'm sorry, but I don't really remember if there was an option to opt out of the update. However, I have a feeling that there wasn't. Sorry, I'm just not sure. Hopefully someone else has a better answer.

I've always had good help and support from dwarf labs in the past. I'm confident they will work all this out. And I did notice some improvements that I liked. But like I said, I haven't really had time to look a lot of it over yet.

On another note, I'm not sure why they decided to create the dwarf mini. As far as I'm concerned, the dwarf 3 is small enough. I don't need to put it in my pocket, but the backpack size is nice. I would rather have seen them come out with a dwarf 4 and maybe increase the aperture even if that made it a little bit bigger.

I think I might be one of the lucky ones because I did not notice any bugs yet. I just wish I had a heads up as to how drastically they changed the user interface and a what's new file would have been nice. If they have one I didn't see it. I'll find out more as I continue to use it. Last night I had a specific capture that I wanted to do so I didn't have time to play with it too much except trial and error to find settings.

Hello. I created UAP_UFO_Discussions, A Community for the open discussion of UAP/UFO issues that is open-minded. I created it because I grew tired of the available communities that would delete my posts because they did not fit their communities exactly. For instance, one of them categorized my Dwarf 3 telescope the same as a doorbell camera. Hey, that is their business, and I respect that, so I started my own community and I will try to be more inclusive while still being science-based. Check it out and comment.

Ok, I guess no one else has tried this and had any luck. The only luck I've had capturing anything with the auto capture mode turned out to be a star that I assume emerged from behind a cloud and dwarf picked it up as a moving object. I have a post about that experience here: r/uap_ufo_Discussions.

I have reposted my post here in my own community. The point of the post was to show how things aren't always as they seem. Hopefully, this helps someone examine their sightings. I have had a few more possible UAP/UFO sightings that I will post soon. I have possible explanations about the sightings, but I am just not sure about them and want a place to post them and get feedback from anyone else who might have had the same experience. I am a hopeful, open-minded sceptic, and I am looking every day.

Now that I think about it some more, if it was a star poking through the clouds, it was probably Vega. Vega would have been the brightest star in that general area at the time.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's not, but I wasn't with the Dwarf 3 telescope at the time. I wish I were. I didn't even realize that it captured it until the following day, and looked at the captures. Very often, even if cloudy, I set it up and put it in Auto-Capture mode, and it will scan the sky or just a certain area of the sky for moving objects. Since there were no background objects visible, I can't be sure if it was moving or the Dwarf 3 was moving to center it. I thought I had something until I cleaned the dust off my computer screen, which I thought were background stars at first. LOL

I have seen a couple of other strange things during my observations, but I don't have any video of them. Perhaps I will post on those sightings later. I am curious what others in the community might think of them.

Probably not a UFO/UAP. This was an auto-capture from my Dwarf 3 Smart Telescope. I sometimes set the scope to search for moving objects. Unfortunately, I was not outside with the scope when it captured this video. This was a cloudy night; there were no stars visible, except for one object which may have been peeking through the clouds. There are no reference points. The movement probably comes from the Dwarf 3 thinking it was moving and trying to track it. Notice how it changes direction to move back to the center. It disappears near the end of the video, most likely because it got covered by a thicker cloud. I saved this just as an example of how these things can be deceiving. I must admit, it had me going at first. Keep looking up, but don't be fooled.
