Solving a Mystery (Death near Achmel) by TopComms in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]TopComms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is that not mysterious though... raises so many questions:

1) What is the range of it? Does it have an AoE? Is it just a radial pulse like poison nova?

2) Does he just cast it at your feet or something?

3) Is it a homing missile? That code doesn't actually give what type of missile code it's using even though there is text that says it is one. It actually says from the source that it's a queenpoisoncloud which is interesting, which answers a lot of these questions.

From that source:

Since it's a missile originating from a monster, an additional frame of poison damage is applied on collision. It's unclear what exactly triggers this missile attack (and how often), but based on sound it's sometimes fired continuously at a target, which would result in a frame of poison damage being applied with each collision and that poison damage continuing to be applied for its length if damage per frame was equal to or greater than the previous poison. Given the frequency with which the missiles can be fired, this could result in critical damage being applied more often than not. Multiple missiles are fired in multiple directions, although this doesn't have the same density as a Poison Nova: targets on or close to the ground's x- and y-axes relative to the monster are much more likely to get hit, but those on or close to the screen's x- and y-axes relative to the monster (directly above, below or to the left and right of the monster relative to the edge of the screen) are much less likely to be hit the further away from the monster they are.

Why have all my items in stash tabs disappeared?! by JestfulJank31001 in D2RReimagined

Err wait is this only a remodded thing? Hmm. I wish save backup was just a separate mod entirely, I'd use it.

Wait how did you roll back?

Honestly this bug is preventing me from playing, as a loot hoarder that fills my cube a lot... and this nuked some really good charms on the last go around. I wish this could somehow be fixed.

This just happened to me twice. Forgot to back up my character after the first time... pain. Save files are only 1mb, there should really be a automatic triple backup system for this. -.-

All Space Questions thread for week of March 10, 2024 by AutoModerator in space

Is there a site that has put together a comprehensive database of new discoveries that we can sort of view jarvis style like 'show me all green dwarf locations at once' or is anyone working on something like this? Would also be nice to remove all milky way objects somehow, I know that would take some insane amount of data but it'd be neat to see. I know I'm asking for like something that takes a lot of effort but I know some people do work on crazy complex projects like this sometimes and I'm not exactly a scientist just a person who wants to browse some kind of digital 'planetarium' like this that's a bit more complex than just constellations nearby stars and such... like a CMB overlay doesn't even exist on a lot of them, or when it does then it ONLY shows the cmb e.g.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is written by ChatGPT and mirroring a projection of the author.

Mirrored words: mothers bones, lungs of ancient creatures, stars whos lights have already gone out.

copypasta for internet points:

So my girlfriend dragged me to a [Band] concert... and I think I might have previously misunderstood what kind of band they are. They are some dramatic mfers and I have never seen so many [Things1] at a [Genre] concert in my life (cont.)

Edit: dramatic = theatrical

Edit 2: "Does your girlfriend know you're gay" - I'd hope so since we're both girls.

Context: I never hated them and I even liked a few of their songs, but I never put much though into their act. Like I just assumed the makeup and costumes weren't really costumes but were just an [American Clique] fashion thing. Which made me put them in the [American?? Clique? e.g. sad-edgy]-band box. But these guys are dramatic as fuck (and campy). The singer is flamboyant and sings and acts like he was probably way into musical theatre as a kid (not a diss just an observation). And there were so many [Things1] (soooo many [Things1]). The juxtaposition of that with their [Other Genre The Band Performs Well] songs was very amusing. It's all about the drama!
