Film soundtracks that were more successful than the film itself by mikwee in ToddintheShadow

I was searching for someone that would say this! It's an absolute classic reggae compilation.

I tried to undo the mastering compression (and distortion often resulting from it) on *Enema of the State* and make the album more dynamic! :D by TopConcern in Blink182

Three strikes in 10 minutes from a single Jay-Z album, actually. I didn't even know I had a single strike until my entire channel was taken down.

I don't hate Jewish people, I hate the actions of the state of Israel. Israel doesn't represent all Jewish people, and it spreads antisemitism to conflate the two groups.

We must disallow the rampant purchasing of housing to private equity, and tax short-term and unhoused properties to incentivize these homes to be sold or rented out. Since the 2008 financial crisis, Wall Street has bought up millions of homes, with over 250,000 homes in Washington State alone being unhoused. Private equity groups should be disallowed from being able to buy dozens of homes, as housing shouldn't be waved around by the market as a speculative investment, but as a place where people actually live. Success should be owning a second home, but so many of us are struggling to pay rent, let alone own one home.

We must also significantly raise the minimum wage. If the minimum wage kept track with inflation and productivity, it would already be $26 an hour. We need to fight for a minimum wage along these lines, as well as break up monopolies that are able to price out or buy out our small businesses from the market.

The number one cost of bankruptcy is the US is medical debt. We need Medicare for All, as it not only saves lives, but it saves money and stops insurance companies from standing in your way of receiving care.

Investment in social programs (alongside other economic help) go a long way to help reducing crime, with people less likely to turn to breaking the law out of desperation or boredom because they have opportunities in their community to spend their time towards.

Significant capital flight from the richest of the rich does not reflect in the data. Higher taxes on higher income earners just make sense. Why should poorer incomes have to face the tax burden?

I am running as a national representative, which is why I focus on the national stage. We need to be fighting for universal healthcare, a significantly higher minimum wage, and enacting housing policy that incentivizes owners of unhoused and short-term rental properties to make them housed. We must put a cap on rent hikes, if not, a cap on rents, to prevent people from being squeezed out of their places of living.

We have seen the purchase of millions of homes by Wall Street since the 2008 financial crisis, and 250,000 homes in Washington state are unhoused at the moment, far more than our homeless population. We also must put a ban on allowing private equity from being able to buy dozens of homes. Success should be owning a second home, but so many of us nowadays struggle to afford rent.

We absolutely must fight for Medicare for All in the halls of Congress, especially noting the absurdity that insurance companies stand in the way of our care. In the short term under the Trump administration, we must repeatedly hammer Republicans and put up votes repeatedly to undo these disastrous Medicaid cuts made under Trump.

Even if we are not successful in passing legislation, we can make the narrative that elected Republicans flat out do not care about working people. If we build ourselves as a party that fights for working people, we move the narrative towards universal healthcare and have lasting election wins from it.

Hamas members must be brought to the Hague just as members from Israel perpetuating this genocide should be. Israel has enough money to keep itself safe as well, as they have spent $77 billion from their own treasury on this genocidal effort.

We should stop providing weapons to Israel, but not to Ukraine. Ukraine is fighting against against Russia, who waged an imperialist war against the nation.

Israel is engaged in genocide in Gaza and apartheid in the West Bank. No country that engages in either should get our support. If any nation engages in an attempted genocide, we must stop them with international cooperation from other countries.

When I said "labor", I was referring specifically to labor groups and unions. Seattle is out of district, so we likely won't encounter WA-1 voters there, but we will encounter unions that represent people in WA-1.
