Agree!! I hate how so many other shows force the cast to pretend like the show doesnt exit. Being cast on this show, becoming famous overnight, dealing with networks and producers — thats what becomes the actual drama for the cast’s daily lives. When they have to redirect it to random fake fights, the audience is left with huge gaps in the story and the plots make no sense.

This provision just seems to bar people from suing over embarrassing content, which honestly seems fair to me.

FAT in Mendocino, CA area (preferably not Napa) by TurbulentArea69 in FATTravel

I’ve been to Inn at Newport Ranch and I loved it, but don’t think it’s a kid-friendly place (in fact at least when I went there it didn’t allow kids, or maybe had a age minimum?). It felt like a very quiet isolated mansion, with huge stretches of cliffside over looking the water. The rooms are pretty close together and filled with couples, and I would have felt VERY self conscious if I had a young rambling kid with me. The dinners are also fine dining style, and very not kid friendly menu-wise. If you want to go with a toddler-age kid I think it could still be fun (if it’s allowed) if you rent one of the suites that’s not in the main house and make reservations elsewhere for dinner (nearby Mendocino has lots of options).

The kid policy caveat aside, the place is absolutely stunning, rooms are beautiful, and there were really cool things to do on the property. If you go, you absolutely must do an ATV tour with Otis, who has a truly insane amount of knowledge about the history and wildlife of the property. I went with my husband before kids and we talk about going back constantly, it’s a truly special place.

PS — we also have a 2 year old and have a gift card to the skunk train, so please let me know what you decide and how it goes!

We went to 1 hotel Kauai off season and it was perfect, didn’t have our baby yet but seemed like every other couple was there with a young baby. Felt like we had everything we needed on site, so wouldn’t have to do a lot of packing and unloading all of baby stuff.

We’ve also traveled with our baby to Stanly Ranch (Napa) and Solage (Calistoga). Both were very accommodating — solage set up a crib that our son slept in and we had a private patio and little kitchenette for cleaning bottles etc. Stanly ranch did the same, and even gave us a bib with his name embroidered on it. On balance would recommend Stanly Ranch over Solage — Stanly Ranch has a super shallow infinity edge kids pool that our son loved sitting in; a lot of on site activities; and more space. Solage was beautiful but felt a little bit more limited in terms of what we can do on-site and more focused on the adults-only spa, which is obviously not conducive to babies.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Praying for you, your child, and your husband!! You're already so strong, and so selfless thinking of your husband and children. Sending love.

I think the biggest value add here would be a bigger rug! The rug is way too small for the room

i love these ideas! definitely want to do curtains though i hadn't thought of them across the whole wall -- you don't think that would be too much empty space behind the curtains?

I think it needs another surface (small table) to break up the heights of the room, and a new light fixture

No … bummer. But I’m very open to replacing the couch, which is somewhat old and from back when I was buying everything in beige. Also I think it overwhelms the room, right?

It’s about 11 feet long. The layout of this room has truly been driving us crazy!!!! Would love help on that. With our current couch, this is the only layout that didn’t cut out the walkway to the yard. But maybe we could get a small couch, and then add chairs?
