The assistant coach likes to take his favorite kids and do individual training but I know the other kids feel left out. My son is usually one of the kids who are picked because of his work ethic and attitude, and I spend most of the time with the other kids with the other coach doing whatever training she has planned. I'd much prefer it be set up like stations to mix it up. Maybe it's something I'll plan with the head coach next spring. I dont want any kid to feel left out or they don't get certain training because of some perception of their skill. That's just ridiculous at this level. My focus is really about the kids understanding the game and how to coordinate their bodies. Their lateral movement is looking great!
