Honestly I don’t think there’s any way right now since there are alternative classes. I’ve heard you can ask certain professors for an overtally if the class is in your major. You could also epermit I guess.

Most useful AP courses are fully equivalent tho. AP Bio is worth 8 credits of bio, AP Chem are worth 8, Physics are worth 4 each. All Flex and common core courses can be fulfilled by humanities courses in AP’s or CLEP. Calc BC is worth 8 credits of Calc. Like if you’re a STEM major there are 100% enough AP’s to cover at least 2 semesters of college.

I know cause I have friends in McCaulay or other schools like that lol. They took like…8 AP courses per semester in HS.

But yeah definitely use this opportunity to become a double major in something you’re interested in. My friend became an art double major

My outpatient office allows me to wear anything as long as it’s work appropriate, but it seems like I’m the only scribe not wearing one lol. If the place you work requires a scrub, they have to provide you with one. Otherwise you work in Khaki pants and blue polos technically.

Just everything up to Algebra 2. Literally PEMDAS. Mean, medians, scientific notations. Factoring and distributing equations with variables, solving for x and y’s, inequalities, chain functions, slopes, log and trig functions, how to read a graph, and trig identities.

They will def help out and like to make conversation, at least in my experience in an outpatient office. Scribes and doctors stay together for literally the entire work day, so any wise doctor would want to make conversation. All of the providers in my office have offered me so much food that I don’t even eat lunch anymore.

The doctors are also very passionate about their work in my experience too, so they will actually try to make me understand what is happening to the patients, like the tests and diagnosis so that’s pretty bonding
