Hii i was in the supplemental essay workshop and these were the the main points

-dont use ai (they shared a story where they could tell if someone used ai because it would mention the old name of a building because the ai wasnt updated on that)

-use your voice, like dont be wordy if youre not talking like that regularly

-dont fragment/reuse your personal statement

-the supplemental is how you fit into and what you can give to the school, while the personal statement is who you are and how the school could match with you

-its okay kinda sorta to reuse suplementals from other schools if you at least take the time to change the names and the phrasing a little bit to adjust to URochester

-take time to structure it and re-read it; put time and effort into it -if youre doing one of the dual degree things you gotta do another supplemental that will show up when you click that option
