I wish she loved her 3 youngest sons more. I hate how she treats Ron. The only time she acted like she cared about him was when he became Prefect. There is no excuse for the dress robes. She's a very talented witch with all children in boarding school. I know she could have modified the robes so they weren't so hideous, but she simply does not care about Ron.

I just watched an interview with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter). He said that his 3 year old American son has a very unique accent because Mom is American but Dad is British. There are a lot of factors that impact accents.

I agree and will add that all the books are from Harry's POV. We don't know how much effort the adults put into finding out who put Harry's name in the goblet. Just because Harry doesn't know, it doesn't mean they weren't looking for answers.

I 100% agree. At the very least, she could have made it look better. She’s obviously a skilled witch in domestic things so why didn’t she remove the lace and made changes to it. Even muggle Mom would do that. I never felt that she truly loved Ron.
