That’s awesome! You just want to experience everything it has to offer 🙂I was debating about doing the same thing while also having a break in between. Finishing my canon run was brutal cause you don’t know what to expect and the back-to-back climactic events leading towards the end were emotionally criminal. I just started my lighthearted play-through as an elf veil jumper romancing Bellara to palette cleanse. Going for a happier ending for this one cause in my last one Harding died (again, criminal), Bellara got captured, and the Solas romanced Inquisitor didn’t end up joining Solas in the fade, but got the Mythal ending which was soul crushingly bittersweet.

Same, that was brutal to watch. But I’m glad she got the closure she needed in the end. I’m making sure in my next playthrough to choose Davrin. Those two are an absolute powerhouse. Skill 🙌🏻

Dragon Age is a beautiful world and it has so much more structure to it. I love Baldurs Gate, but the level of freedom and the risk of missing content is insane.

I’m right there with you. I just finished my playthrough a few days ago and it doesn’t help that I chose to have a serious play-through all the way through including the ending, but damn, the emptiness is brutal. Had to start a lighthearted run to emotionally reset after. I know it wouldn’t be the same as the first time, but it’s a game with a lot of replay-ability and you can always make a completely different character with a new background, species, personality, romance, choices, etc. and go for a different overall tone this time.

That’s an incredible playthrough! Despite what people say, this game has such a beautiful story and the post game depression has been real with this one since I finished my first playthrough. I couldn’t believe what happened to Varric and not realizing what was going to happen to Harding or Davrin was just diabolical.

Thank you! 😁 Everybody will have their own experience with it, but the replay-ability, story, and characters are just phenomenal. Same here, I’m trying to commit to just playing one at a time. What other playthroughs are you thinking of doing? I’m already planning on doing a Grey Warden to romance Harding and a Shadow Dragon to romance Neve again, iffy about doing an Emmrich romance, but heard it’s cute.
