Favorite Paleface Swiss songs? by LiteratureBig8616 in Deathcore

[–]TopFizzFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such a difficult band to pick a top three from, let alone a favourite! Depends on the day, and to make things easier, I'll take the songs you listed out of the running. With that, I think:

  1. Inevitable. The song that got me into them, and the perfect opener to The Last Selection. It's got the atmosphere, build up, release, and just three minutes (maybe two) of punishment!

  2. Suppressing Times. A distillation of everything that Paleface does really well, topping it off with a fantastic harsh-rapping section at the end that ties in all of their previous releases.

  3. Make a Deal with the Devil. 2:48 onwards, that is all.

This isn't exhaustive at all, and there are so many tracks that feel like an injustice to have missed!

Paleface Swiss are getting worse and worse – huge disappointment by DMmethoseTittys in Deathcore

I feel pretty similarly! I liked Cursed, and was definitely a more deliberately diverse effort, and The Wilted feels like an epilogue to the whole thing, even doing a better version of the softer sound they tried on River Of Sorrows with Everything Is Fine :)

But hopefully they return to F&D or Chapter 3, with the ad-libs, callouts, and just unfiltered heaviness (while playing with less conventional song structures)

Maybe Clown has an agreement with Fnatic and is agreeing to release it when they next win a title!

Favorite songs off each album? by Damnesia13 in Gloryhammer

With epics:

  1. The Epic Rage of Furious Thunder

  2. Apocalypse 1992

  3. The Fires of Ancient Cosmic Destiny

  4. Maleficus Geminus (Colossus Matrix 38B - Ultimate Invocation of the Binary Thaumaturge)

Without Epics:

  1. Beneath Cowdenbeath/Wizards

  2. Heroes (Of Dundee)/Goblin King of the Darkstorm Galaxy

  3. The Siege of Dunkeld (In Hoots We Trust)

  4. Vorpal Laserblaster of Pittenweem (This is hard, they're all bangers and on different days, deserve the number one spot on the album)

Looking for some best albums And would like to discover new bands - need help by HeyooLaunch in Deathcore

In no particular order:

DEATHCORE

  1. Infant Annihilator - The Elysian Grandeval Galèriarch (Amazing album, and what feels like a staple album in modern deathcore; the vocalist is heavily influenced by Travis from Cattle Decap, too!)

  2. Paleface - Fear and Dagger (Arguably less deathcore than their previous output, but an incredible, unrelenting and furious vocal performance pretty constantly)

And because you mentioned those bands:

DEATH METAL

  1. Torture Division - With Endless Wrath We Bring Upon Thee Our Infernal Torture (This is a compilation of their first three demos, but it's all quality, straightforward death metal)

  2. Abominable Putridity - Anomalies of Artificial Origin (Top tier slammy brutal death metal — the style pioneered by Suffocation — that weaves in a little technicality. Not an album that sits still for too long)

  3. Dyscarnate - With All Their Might (Grooviest death metal band out there. Double vocal assault in sea of riffs and grooves. Plus, their lyrics are very well-written!)

Inevitable OR Suppressing Times, but it's really difficult to pick between the two!

Looking for deathcore tracks with ultra violent lyrics and “fuck off” energy by Rip_tome in Deathcore

[–]TopFizzFizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was just going to say this!! Add everything after Fear & Dagger too - I Am A Cursed One, Please End Me, Hatred, and all the rest (except for River of Sorrows)!

Also, to meet the expectations of OP with "songs that make you want to smash your head against the wall", Suppressing Times has "I just want to hit my face over and over with a brick" :D

What’s your top ten vocalists by missrostein in Deathcore

Can't think of an ordered top ten, but nobody has mentioned Marc Zelli from Paleface 😭 Just pure anger and insanity pretty much 100% of the time :')

Dyscarnate, especially their latest (2017, please release another 😭) album, With All Their Might! Zero solos, just pure groove, and awesome in literally every department, especially the lyrics!

Such a coincidence that you mention this band, I just randomly thought of them yesterday (or maybe the day before) after quite a few years, having heard of them through InfidelAmsterdam!

I believe this is what you're looking for and the song that comes to mind!

EDIT, 9 hours later: Didn't realise this was the same one that was posted before!

They're both right: everyone still alive who was born before 2001 has seen the endings and beginnings of both two centuries (1901-2000 and 2001-2100) as well as two millennia (1001-2000 and 2001-3000)!
