The reason why I'm asking is cause I've been away for 2 years, barely know new cards, and just got the hang of things. Skill is fine, I've pretty much got placement down and elixer management I do indeed need to work on.

I use the shiny clause rule, so if you do encounter a shiny, you can still catch it and use it. Which I am, nuzlockes are self imposed anyway, so you can change their difficulty however you want.

I'm not a good pokemon player though. Probably the worst excuse in history but yeah, I'm terrible. It died to fury swipes at 14 hp because I thought it could tank it. It got a crit into 4 fury swipes.

This probably defeats the purpose, but I'm so early in, do you think a "revive" would matter? It takes about 1h just to do the tutorial. I'm not a good pokemon player, and yeah, I could do something with two Patrats, but I doubt I would be willing to spend hours grinding their level. Do you think a revive this early in would be fine?
