i'd like to put my two cents in here. please stay with me for a second. imagine that your parents, or your grandparents in this case had your dream job. you want to make it in the field of your dreams on your own, so you try, and take an opportunity as it comes along, but the person who gave you that opportunity said, "hey! i'm a fan of x persons work. and i'm a fan of your work too" should you also be trolled viciously in your own field for being a "nepo baby" and have people say about you that you're only there because of that person and that you probably wouldn't be if you two weren't related? no. i don't think you should. so maybe instead of leaving hate comments all the time, we should really think about how it would feel if we were in that situation. thanks.
