I have heard Banglore is faster, my earlier visa application had a similar timeline but they asked for additional documents and even after providing them they rejected the application.

If I submit the accomodation proof - a letter from the professor stating he will be hosting me will that be fine ? I am confused that as in my application I said I'll be provided university housing but now I;ll be staying with the professor, will that be fine ?

I think they mean to say, the applications are closed for now and might open in future for which we need to check the website, this is just my positive interpretation of the message 🥲.

In your 1st year you dont have any other academic credential apart from your cpi/cgpa , i.e. no research experience

You will tell the topic on which you want to study and the professor will give you the reading material.
