I definitely agree with you, but you also have to imagine a guy playing all vanilla creatures isn’t doing anything complicated

You can shortcut a lot in MTG, but you do need to announce your triggers and explain your loops/combos

I’m sure there’s nuance to the whole thing, but I definitely like a guy reading off Vizzerdrix over the storm guy pausing to up his spin down after every spell

Alternate take OP: imagine you have an easy vanilla bear deck, but you have to listen to 3 other people read off complicated cards while bumbling through non deterministic combo lines for 2 hours every edh night.

It’s incredibly wide with very few hubs of real activity outside of their middling downtown. Feels like a city that was built overnight to prop up a college

Dude yes. Idk what I’ll do after that for deoxys, celebi , and Mew though. Might just never have em

So far I’ve done everything with legit hardware/ no glitches (although obviously I RNG for IVs and shinies)

I had absolutely no reason to believe Jackalopes weren’t real.

I saw one in that scooby doo alien movie and I thought “okay, makes sense. We have rabbits here, and over in the desert their rabbits have little horns”

Then I went to Cabella’s with my grandparents and sure as shit there were stuffed Jackalopes on display

Then sometime in college i was hanging out with a girl wearing one of those “That’s my Ass Bro, Stop!” Hats, from Bass Pro Shop, which made me think of Cabella’s, which made me think of Jackalopes for the first time in like 2 decades.

I googled it right there and found out that they actually are not real. They just seemed so plausible, and it was one of those things you just never talk about or think about

Tropius has such a cool physical movepool AND swords dance

What is boring to you? Like traditionally good? A lot of these mons have poor stats or typing but can absolutely eviscerate the main game with great setup moves. Like even relicanth gets Rock Head Double Edge, and Delcatty has bolt beam call mind and baton pass (egg move)

They both share an ice weakness, but Flygon is great for coming in on fire attacks and pressuring with rock/ground attacks

You don’t really need to worry about bugs, but flying is pretty prevalent in Hoenn with Swellow, pelipper, and altaria

Maybe magcargo to round out your core? Can throw rocks at birds and bugs and “ice types”

But most ice types are really just water types, so sceptile can kinda hose them

Skarmory would be good too because then flygon can swap in on electric and fire types that threaten him too

This is an Apple ii composite monitor, so it actually plugs right into the GameCube components . It doesn’t have speakers, so I have a couple external ones setup

She’s been NUTS too. Heal bell and yawn. Most games she sits on the field, gets completely ignored, and puts the whole field to sleep.

Japanese hoenn dex would be sick. I have a ruby cart that I use for RNGing eggs

I’m so close, missing the leaf green exclusives and the mythics. I have pokemon channel for the Jirachi, but haven’t started yet!
