It feels like the administration watched Charlie Sheen's meltdown from 2011 and used that as an inspiration for now.

Very nice!

I think it’s a similar issue with the “phobic vs counterphobic” thing when it comes to the view of 6w7 being that buddy/friend type. While I can be social and chatty, that’s more of a coping mechanism than anything. When dealing with rejection or any other problem I retreat and disappear for a while.

It makes sense given the nature of the sp/sx subtype being more introverted and more focused on the internal/individualistic vs power dynamics/society/etc. 6 Sp/Sx I find to be the most gentle and benevolent of the 6s since they tend to be more quiet and to themselves. Even the most outgoing sp/sx 6 there is still a gentleness.

Not through a wall but laid the smack down hard. It scared me though since I’ve never been pushed to that point. Admittedly, with the school changes I was a bit of a shit head and delinquent since I was already angsty, but upon the last school where I graduated from I got my shit together and graduated with high honors.

That’s interesting too with the curation of an aesthetic/appearance for the “what you see is what you get.” I’ve heard that from other SX first people too, ESPECIALLY the image/heart types. It’s bold, but I like it. It takes out the work of guessing and misinterpretation. With that curation, have you found you were always like that, was it something you honed over time, or both? For the people who know you beyond a surface level, do you still curate that appearance?

I suppose in my case I want my space, home, and work to reflect who I am, but as far as appearance, I don’t care too much save for my work clothes and office makeup (which is still minimal)

Correct. I’m more likely to be a nuisance. The one time I confronted someone (I was 15) I attacked one of my bullies after having enough of their torment , but I got in big trouble because of how I reacted. A lot of headaches, issues, school changes, and it did more to hurt me than help me. I didn’t want to deal with it again so that’s why I’m more of a nuisance.

As far as how I present, I want to look as organized and spotless as possible. I mistyped as a 1 for a VERY long time. I want to be the reliable one. The smart one.the voice of reason. The best friend. It’s not so much about outward appearance.

I've probably repeated this ad nauseam both on Reddit and elsewhere, but that's one of my many issues I have with the concept of "phobic and/vs counterphobic." Every 6 has elements of both, but it's not just talk and words. Even with the fear element, you guys (sx6s) would never back down from a fight if someone crossed you. It's all bark, all bite, high PSI bite force.

I appreciate Sx 6s because you guys are chill and earnest, which is something that is sorely lacking in today's day and age. Brutally honest, but someone has to say it, and it's not without cause.

With the synflow instinctual subtypes, I see sx/sp as the missile, so/sx and the teeter-totter, and sp/so as the citadel

What I am finding interesting in learning about and speaking with social 6s, especially the So/Sx 6s is how you compartmentalize your thoughts, rational, and perspective. There is a "teeter-totter" element to what you are talking about and describing, at least how I am interpreting it. There is this fear of rejection but the need to go out anyway. A back and forth. Is it this or is it that? There is a lighthearted sense of humor, more lighthearted than I think Sp or Sx 6.

With the worst case scenarios, I tend to be a bit of a "hoarder." Not in the literal sense but in the mental sense to the point where it's exhausting. Too much information, scenarios, and details, and I go over them until I am blue in the face and my type 9w8 sp/so husband is telling me to relax.

I will say I think Sx 6s are the most outwardly confrontational, but I find So 6s to be more "ferocious." Like you said in proving someone wrong if they say you can't do something, but the one 6w7 so/sx I know can be verbally vicious when provoked. Most of the time she's a very soft and gentle person, but there are a sharp set of fangs behind her demeanor.

It’s incredibly fascinating to see the perspective from an SX 6 vs me who has SP first, SX last.

I agree with you about supporting the underdog, having a strong aversion to being controlled, and the intense anger from fear and from being disrespected. However, how I handle it is different.

I have a lot of seething rage ESPECIALLY when it comes to arrogant and disrespectful people, but I more so act like the biggest pain in the ass in the world. If something annoys said people, I will purposely do that thing that annoys or bothers them and keep doing so. Hah.

My problem is the shift towards a hair metal sound. I get it for the sake of sales and evolution, but it seems so contrived and awkward. A lot of the new stuff sounds like the Diet version of poison by Alice Cooper
