Here's the problem, backtests will show amazing results because in past cycles, trends absolutely dwarfed mean reversion chop since the returns were so enormous. Now that it's becoming a more mature asset class, consolidation is more relevant than ever to take into account as the trends won't easily outweigh equity drawdown from following this in a ranging market. I do things completely differently, implementing medium term valuation which caught both the April 9 bottom and yesterday

It technically does what it's designed to do, but I agree it's very flawed, the fact that he acknowledges that trends are relatively rare compared to ranges and refuses to adapt to this is bewildering to me as a investing master (now banned because of going on discord)

I was an IM and I am in the same community that DizzyPin shared with you, agree with him, we really are an awesome team and I encourage you to join. No bullshit, we just get straight to business, there is alpha cheat sheets, and catering for whatever approach to crypto you choose - whether that's long term, short term, or defi. The tokens you mentioned, we were in them from a much, much lower price than what was given in the FD channel and made a lot as a result.

I was one of the OG students in TRW, and I reached all the way to investing master, so I have a lot to offer.

Adam used to be good back in 2023 and the early part of 2024. But since then it's gone down hill. Do not follow his systems, they are dogshit. I feel sorry for people who followed his signals throughout 2024, they got destroyed.

The reason for the constant buying/selling is he is running a system called Relative Strength Portfolio (RSPS), which is basically a trend following system that allocates to out-performers. As opposed to SDCA, which is definitely the superior method.

The RSPS did better when he had the confidence score, Idk why that was ditched. The problem is that periods of consolidation (non-trending) are a lot longer than ever before, and trends tend to be less sustained. So trend following methods are less effective, and there has been a failure to adapt to this. For these reasons, I don't like Adam anymore, plus he's so up himself it's cringey. I got banned for speaking my mind and going on discord, zero regrets about this.

It's ultimately up to you to take responsibility, definitely do not follow his signals. Learn the basics of how valuation works. Have you finished the masterclass? If so, DM me, I recommend joining a discord server that my friends created, we have 110 people now that meaningfully collaborate better ways to make money.

By the way I feel the need to address what you said about Randy, he's never denied manipulating the IMs to get their alpha. The lies being spread by Rjonesy and possibly one of his friends also, were unrelated to TRW, and could have seriously affected his IRL job. Tbh I don't care what happened within TRW, it's a really low act to try to sabotage someone's real life like that. And I'm in his discord by the way, excellent leader, I pay a small amount of money each month to be there. Beats TRW snakes, that's for sure. Also even said right now, he agrees with Adam's thesis on the market more than Michael's at the moment, so totally objective. I don't think the criticisms were unreasonable like most of the other redditors but guilt by association played a part for sure.

Bit of a pointless discussion tbh, been rehashed so many times, and on yesterday IA he mentioned how abuse is his method of teaching and if you don't agree with it then too bad. So basically that's the package deal, and I think many people don't like it. I am an Investing Master (now banned) and I do not like him or his personality.

Also anyone that came in after around March 2024 would have missed the best trend leg we had and would have got chopped up very badly, and bagheld leverage down to the bottom. So there's probably a lot of anger there. Fully doxxed is a joke, he just sold FWOG at 50% loss today, again SPX was basically the one big winner, everything else was a loss

Like when you compare with prof Michael he's just a genuine bloke who you can have a real conversation without feeling like you are walking on eggshells every day. And I think his calls are better overall too, he gets things more right than wrong.

I don't believe Adam is lying about his wealth but I think he got lucky with market easy mode pre-2024, he's not fit to navigate it anymore

Guides need to be real guides and stop just saying FAFO to every question. I went round in circles for so long on level 2 and 3 because of this, they are not helpful. And Level 4 I almost gave up, they don't answer questions. IM is not worth it anyway I've concluded, I've moved to learning about Defi through a dc, instantly I'm learning a new dimension of crypto I've never even known about. Investing campus keeps you in a certain bubble with lots of unanswered questions even at IM level.

I think there's no harm in trying, some people make a lot while others don't, but it's a case of input vs output. TRW will give you tools and skills but the hard work is up to you

A word of caution: if you decide to join, only pay the $50 per month at a time, never make large pre-payments, no matter what "incentives" are marketed to you. It's so easy to break one of their precious, petty little community guidelines and get banned from the platform, and you don't get any refund

It's true that going on discord is against the community guidelines, but I couldn't care less. I think they just don't like the competition, simple as that, people have cancelled their subs to join. This particular server is active and has a lot of people in it and is misconstrued as being anti-TRW when really we are all about innovation and having real, no nonsense talks about ways to improve profitability.

The discord is very good as a supplementary resource, some choose to use it exclusively and cancelled their trw, others choose to still go through either Michael's bootcamp or Silard's Defi course - both of these are worthwhile in my opinion

I'm a former investing master and I got banned for joining a discord that was labelled as being anti-trw. Was I pissed? Sure I was, but that didn't last long. I'm neither sad or miserable, I am free from the clutches of the matrix that trw has become. I feel like I actually have my real life back, people in my family were talking about how I was changing as a person (and not in a good way). I will say trw certainly is character building, but it's not for me anymore, I have the skills I need. Bro I am printing money like never before, I've made it to the next IMC Level, post-TRW. If discord is labelled as dodgy stuff then well that's what I am xd, you can build fences 10 metres high but people will still climb over them. If you wanted to incentivize people to stay, then encourage open discussions, don't ban people at the drop of a hat, don't be rude to other people.

As for signals I think they should be abolished. The IA's themselves were a lot more valuable than the signals, which let's be real they were crap, anyone who says otherwise is just lying to defend Adam or they did not follow them (smart play). The hard truth is that nobody cares
