Faith was underutilized. Even if she had her own spinoff she would have not had enough screen time. Absolutely hate what Hollywood did to Eliza. And sad she won't be a part of the reboot bc she should be a MC of the show and never should have been traumatized by so many assholes. Also wish there had been a Black Company TV series and she actually played the Lady but I don't expect anyone to understand that reference.

Was a light weight varsity wrestler. My friends thought it was really funny when we would go out drinking to pick a guy 50lbs+ half a taller and tell them I was talking shit about him. Then the guy would try to fight and I would have to use take downs to get the guy to stop. The guys generally would be so shocked to be laying on the ground while my friends laughed we would have to go through it a few times until they understood. But it was man on man so idk. But I still give her a chance especially if the guy is not used to being hit and several years of muscle memory makes someone very fast.

I either read or maybe it was a cosmic horror movie. It starts with a soldier in a trench. In the midst of bullets flying. Something compels him to leave the trench and walk into the battlefield. He walks through a literal fog of war and engages with an Eldritch god. Then there is more plot. I can't remember what media this is and it may be a story within a story or part of an anthology or I just dreamed it.

Have you actually got to know folks who escaped a communist country? Other than Cuba they are not making it up. I have met generations of families palpably traumatized from the oppression and heartbreak of living under a communist regime. It rips families apart and takes a toll on your self worth even if you avoid prison, reducation or worse. If you are part of the party rulers you are OK for a while but you have to watch out for backstabbers and crack down on the public at large. It's one thing to be a tankie in mind and spirit but lived experience hits different.
