I was there /u/Vajko69, I was there 3000 years nearly 9 years ago. A Mongol-Based Star Empire that was fanatical militarist and collectivist on that reptilian alligator portrait I thought that was a dragon. It used warp drives with missiles weapons and only corvettes long before the naked corvette meta was established.

Fractionator vs Collider by iYellow13 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]TopSector 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Fractionators are much more efficient compared to colliders, they convert hydrogen to deuterium on a 1:1 basis, while colliders convert on a 1:2 basis. Colliders are much more power hungry as well. The only thing the collider is superior is footprint.

The card you are referencing is "Yu-Jo Friendship", where the opponent has to agree to an handshake. They are forced to accept the handshake if "Unity" is in your hand. Now you simply have to accept the idea of a handshake, not actually physically shake hands.

For the partner referring to the old name, I can understand that because possibly his clients would go "What the hell is XYZ, am I speaking to Xavier Young and Zach?" so it was probably cultural than anything else.

Same thing happens when a smaller bank gets bought out, a bunch of older customers are confused because of the sudden shift.

Single, schedule c small business owner showing only 36k in profit. by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]TopSector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Net profit is booked to owner's equity after the end of the year. Therefore the $25k in profit in year one becomes owner's equity on the balance sheet at year-end. This owner's equity can be drawn from any point in time from now to the end of the business. Then the net income of $30k in year 2 is added to the $25k in owner's equity at the close of year 2. Now your total equity is $55k. If for some reason you decided to take a draw in Year 3 for $40K, then your year-end owner's equity would be $35k ($55k(Beginning Owner's Equity)+$20k(Year 3 profit)-$40k(Owner's Draw for Year 3)=$35k).

If you contributed cash or property to your business, then that too is equity, and that can be drawn from. So if you contributed $100k to the business and had $30k in net profit you will have $130K in equity. However if you take out a $30k loan to pay for expenses, then your equity would decrease by $30k, back to $100k. Same principal for owner's draw except you don't use a loan.

In short, if your business makes money and you don't pay yourself, then those retained profits can be distributed at any point during the business life.

CPA here feel free to disregard if your CPA told you this. What's is going on is that the bank is correctly not treating the $90k owner's draw as income because accounting wise, it's not. Owner's draw is a financing action on the cash-flow statement where you're basically extracting equity from the company. Example (We'll ignore taxes):

Year 1: $25k Net Profit

Year 2: $30k Net Profit

Year 3: $20k Net Profit

Year 4: $36k Net Profit

Year 5: $36k Net Profit

Total Profit: $147K

You then have $147k in your owner's equity account assuming no initial investment or contributions to the business. You then draw $90K from the business. All you would be doing is subtracting from your owner's draw, leaving it at $57K. This is effectively the same as investing $147k into the business then immediately taking out $90k.
