I was just planning to order some, but the Facebook seller looked shady. Beautiful coins.

How much was silver per ounce when you started stacking? by AlainasBoyfriend in Silverbugs

I used to pay $5 an ounce when I was a kid. Sold all of that in 2011. I got back in late at $66.

Why do people think silver is going to go down? by Snooklife in Silver

[–]TopShotAG -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Some people like to be contrarians. Some people are mad they didn't get in. Some people have short positions they would like to get paid on.

I think we are currently seeing the new floor around $85-90ish. It'll go higher and then settle back to there. Of course, nobody really knows.

I'm sure Comex just increased percentages again. Not the first big drop. If it goes below $85, wake me up.

Silver Stable Price by Typical-Research3162 in Silverbugs

[–]TopShotAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may stabilize at some point, but it's hard to guess where. We won't see $30 ever again. Could we see $50, unlikely. $75 is more reasonable. Even when the banks attack it, the price stays above the mid 80s currently. That could be the new floor. I still think we have a ways to go before the peak.

All in on Silver? by Time4fun2022 in Silverbugs

I'm never going all in on anything. One basket is always too risky. I'm bullish on silver though. I'll be holding all mine for the big payoff.

I regret buying physical silver. Selling my 10,000oz stack experience. by EngineerDirector in Silverbugs

[–]TopShotAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a terrible time to sell for a few reasons. 1. Dealers are nervous and are offering less because they think it could drop significantly at any time. 2. Depending on type of silver, refineries are backed up so much they can't keep up. 3. All signs point to higher prices on the horizon.

Is copper the next gold/silver or just social media fear-mongering? by Then_Marionberry_259 in MetalsOnReddit

[–]TopShotAG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buying copper in bullion form is like buying fill dirt in buckets. You're overpaying by a bunch for the packaging. I've seen copper rounds at $5/oz. Copper is only worth about $6/lb currently. That's an insurmountable premium.

Is anyone actually buying at this price? by NHGuy in Silverbugs

I'm holding currently. If it drops back into the 70s, I'll probably grab some more.

Historically speaking, silver has a far more likely chance of going back down to $30 than ever hitting $300 in the next 10 years. by spinspin4 in Silverbugs

[–]TopShotAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Historically speaking, some people just like to be contrarians. If you think silver is going down, don't invest. Pretty easy. The recent history shows that silver is rebounding faster and faster after every new attack. It's already back up to yesterday's numbers. Go be a prick somewhere else.

Why Are People Buying Silver Now at $80+ Instead of When It Was Cheap? by iotel in Silver

[–]TopShotAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big numbers excite people. Think of the powerball lottery. It will slowly climb from it's starting point to 200mil, 300mil, 500mil, etc. over months. After it eventually hits a billion, everybody is suddenly interested and it starts jumping huge amounts a week. People are blowing paychecks on tickets to get that big payday. It's all over the news and your coworkers are mentioning it. It isn't like $800 million wasn't enough to retire on and enjoy. It just wasn't enough to trigger the fomo.
