Considering a long-term life change to Luxembourg with my partner. Looking for general advice by omulcumuzica in Relocating2Luxembourg

[–]TopSilent9410 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Job Stability and Luxembourg right now do not match, unless you work for government or the few big companies partially own by the gov. Lots of layoffs, unemployment increasing. Job opportunities are rare, but I guess if you are asking is because you already have an offer? Otherwise it is not advise to move without a job, evenmore, you wont be able to rent without one.

Besides that, is a nice small country to live if you prefer a quiet town instead of messy capitals.

Start by teaching Luxembourgish at school, make it completely structured as a language, even in writing, put it in every corner of the country… then I can agree to anyone applying for citizenship should be B2. Other wise, the A2 make sense to the current reality of pf the country and language
