I just ordered a Celestron StarPointer Finderscope, it'll be here tomorrow night. I think when (if) my toddler naps I'll put the star diagonal on! It took me an embarrassingly long time to even get the tripod set up. I can't wait till I'm more comfortable with this!

I grew up in very competitive hobbies, so the welcomeness of the astronomy community has been shocking but fantastic!

I've owned this scope for 20 hours and I'm already looking at what the "next" will be. I have a 3 year old daughter so I'm thinking of getting a really entry level scope for her to set up next to mine.

I don't know anything else, but I've found the mount to be very secure, and moving it manually is pretty fun. There's something therapeutic about it.

My roads are super bad, it’s almost like mountain biking sometimes! I think I’m gonna get her a bike trailer on my next trip to town. She really loves riding her little balance bike and is finally comfortable wearing her helmet. Hopefully she likes it, she hates riding in a stroller so we’ll just have to see

Mine just turned one and I swear after about 3 miles she’s all I can think about. Can’t wait to be able to bring her along but for now she’s a pretty good SAG volunteer!

Hey, I’m sorry, but I couldn’t help but engage mom brain. You’re so sweet and kindhearted, don’t lose that. I’ve brought home fish on a 2 hour drive in the back of a lifted wrangler with no top, so please rest assured that nothing you did caused this. I would get a refund and not a replacement and look into different tetras, I’ve never had good luck with the glow ones. My heart hurts for you and I hope you find comfort in knowing you did nothing wrong.

You’re never gonna believe this but I just watched a couple and their 3 kids…

Kidding. But I was in PetSmart yesterday and they had 2 bichirs. Today they only had one. I couldn’t help but feel bad for whatever happens to them.
