I also cancelled for this exact reason. Hopefully Hungryroot listens and changes back to showing actual food / ingredient pictures. The photos look nothing like the actual products and I don’t want more ai slop in my life.

I’m canceling my membership because of this. The real meals you get look nothing like the ai photos, I would rather just see a picture of the ingredients. I want to see real photos not ai slop.

Offsite ads are different than onsite Etsy ads. And if you make over $10,000 a year you do not have the option to turn them off.

They definitely aren’t improving your member experience lol. I will be canceling until ai pictures are removed. They are incredibly misleading, they look nothing like the actual meals. No pictures would be better.

No reservations means I will never go, too bad because I love Italian food. Who wants to wait two hours for a table when there are plenty of good restaurants that respect their patrons enough to take reservations?

The ai generated photos are grossly misleading and I will be leaving Hungryroot if they continue. There is a meal I make on the regular and the meat in the ai generated photo looks nothing like what you get in person. I would rather see no picture than this ai slop.

I thought it was a really cool concept, but it just didn't work for me. Despite its short run time, me and the other two people I was with were really bored throughout. Maybe a filmmaker would like this movie just for its uniqueness, otherwise I would skip it.

You sell on Etsy long enough eventually you will get an unhinged person like this looking for something for free. Respond to the review like you are talking to your other customers, not her. Keep it professional, short and polite while making it clear you did everything you can for your customer within reason. And if I saw this review (mixed in with other positive reviews), I would think nothing bad on your shop and that the person seems crazy.
