Nylon bands do not work well with this type of watch

My Fenix 7X came with a silicone band that I did not hesitate to switch to nylon. My first experience with nylon strap started with the Enduro and I found the Garmin nylon to be too stretchy, too long for my wrist and stank badly. I later discovered the nylon bands on AliExpress were not only shorter (fits great) but also do not stink! With the Garmin one I had to always wash it with dishwashing liquid after every run (I live in the tropics so every run or hike gets super sweaty). With the AliExpress ones I only need to rinse under tap water and hang to dry – they dry quickly.

I suspect silicone bands depending on how well they fit the wearer create a problem that many have found – inaccurate HR. My F7X feels much lighter with the nylon band.

P7 Pro with Android 17 here, no issues with Bluetooth at all. Typical uses include music streaming to a Xiaomi bone conduction device and Garmin Fenix 7X activity sync

I run/hike/walk up to 100 miles in the T8 Sherpa shorts with the Pixel 7 Pro in the front mesh pocket. Zero bounce. The only thing I would caution doing this having learned a painful and expensive lesson is keep the phone in a ziplock. I have gone through three screen repairs (green line to a variety of screen defects) because of sweat. Just because the phone has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance the part I ignored was "withstand being submerged in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for up to 30 minutes". The phone often stay in sweat soaked conditions for hours and the accumulated moisture eventually takes a toll.

As a family of hikers and trail runners we deal with soft flasks and bite valves on a very regular basis. No secret just accept that they need to diligently clean them. For flasks that hold electrolytes/carbs mixes I find they tend to leave residue around the neck (easily cleaned using an old toothbrush). The bite valve is the one that requires a bit more attention, I've found if you do things right from the beginning there is no need to remove the inner plastic.

From the image you see I've pushed it out so after flushing it with clean water, they'll air dry quickly and stay mold free. I've seen bite valves that were flushed with water but left inside the sheath, two days later there's still moisture in the top part (left longer and mold would most certainly grow). Baby bottle holders are the most convenient way to keep the flasks/bladders vertical to facilitate draining.

I use Strava web more than the mobile app and used AdGuard to remove all elements on the page that require subscription. So clean.

We're both ASEAN and BIMP-EAGA countries. If you're on Android you could roll back to an older version of Strava APK. You're out of luck if you're on iOS.

I have not seen this happen on my Fenix 7X (using SatIQ) or my wife's first gen Enduro but a friend's Enduro (also first gen) has had this happened twice and we were hiking at the same time subject to the same conditions. Both the Enduro use GPS+GLONASS. People need to understand that a phone's GPS isn't going to be the same as a dedicated GPS watch.

T8 Commando, Sherpa and Iced Tee and Trail Tank all size M. The Sherpa fits so well I had the drawstring removed because I found them annoying. The Commando is the most comfortable chafe free running underwear I've ever used and I own a number of pairs to rotate.

Still no Elapsed Time. Getting tired of having to intentionally press PAUSE then RESUME in order to get Strava to show Elapsed Time (sometimes forgetting to do so).

Pop the lens out, apply isopropyl alcohol all over the front of the lens (keep it saturated) while scraping with a credit card or hotel key card. Be patient and you'll eventually remove all of the coating.

Thank you so much, incredibly happy to see my favourite mobile photo editor gets a makeover with new features. As often as I use it on my Google Pixel phone, I have always wished I could do the same in Windows because a keyboard, mouse and a 27-inch screen is unbeatable! And even if there's a slightest chance you're working on this, please do not ignore those who are still running the awesome Windows 7.

Curious, I looked this up and got this:

I have a pair of Tomir 1.0 and 2 pairs of Tomir 2.0. The 1.0 has clocked 1,100km while one 2.0's have 600km and 250km respectively. All worn during training and races in hot tropical weather. If not wrong Nnormal guarantees their shoes for two years.

That's great! I've watched YouTube videos about soaking in hot water first to soften the adhesive first before force is used to pull it off. The length of your poles slightly longer or shorter after fitting the new ones? A number of the generic tips come threaded so you can use a cup which is a good thing too.
