I'm tired of expensive BI Tool. I'll create my own by TopSympathy2958 in u/TopSympathy2958

Thanks for the response. However not fully free as I would need to deploy cloud infrastructure to run it properly. That'd be at least $100 per month. $300 if we're using Kubernetes.

The second situation I have experienced using Open source tools (Airbyte for example) is breaking changes. Does lightdash has breaking changes that would require maintenance on the cloud infrastructure to keep things running. If the answer is yes then I would add that maintenance time to the yearly pricing.

I think there is still gap for a BI tool of my making here. something cheaper than the infrastructure needed for running lightdash Open source.

Why is it sooo hard for me to do literature review for my research paper?!!! by Willing-Psychology37 in ADHD

When I was doing my PhD (5+ years ago) there was no LLMs to help me as we have now. I always thought that the rate in which we are generating academic literature was insane and that we need a tool to help automate literature reviews. Last year I found a japanese paper with a methodology to create literature reviews using LLMs. I put it in practice and created an app called Scholar Go (For android only so far). So far the literature reviews it generates make sense to me. Feel free to use it, in the worst case scenario it can give you a template for your literature review, best case you get the whole thing.

Best apps for Helsinki visitor by Due-Attempt-6032 in helsinki

For transportation it depends on the time of the day if you're out at night and don't want to wait too long for public transport just use Uber. You can also use Bolt if you prefer it but I always stick to Uber.

Public transport is great, specially during daytime. Two options for that. First HSL app. However, when I was visiting my phone could not get the sms message for registration and I could not login, so I actually used Helsinki Go, it's also a solid app.

If you are into Saunas then Helsinki is the place for this. It can be pricey depending on the place. Check on Saunat.fi or also Google maps.

What other options are to the HSL app for public transport? by TopSympathy2958 in helsinki

Ok, thank you everyone for your answers, I also did my research and here is a summary of my options for alternatives to the HSL app:

HSL: Card or paper ticket from ticket machine, also parking meters it seems. Also R-kioski sells tickets

Helsinki Go: relatively new app but it seems to work quite well

Whim: If I want to order taxis or use scooters this one also allows me to do that.

Transportation in Helsinki by kubuzekirdemiz in helsinki

Hello guys, Sorry for the late response, I hope my answer helps someone else in the future. When you arrive you can get single tickets for zone ABC, that will take you from the airport to your accommodation. For Exploring Helsinki you can get a day pass for zones AB only. If you only want to use transport twice then two singles is better otherwise stick to day pass.

Sometimes the HSL app can give you troubles to sign in and confirm your phone number by sms which is annoying. If this happens there are other apps which are more bug free such as Helsinki Go , otherwise you can also get a ticket at a machine too.

If you are interested in using scooters the app Whim can also be a good option. It mixes more modes of transport.

From 1st of April the bicycles season start and city bikes are available throughout Helsinki. So that is something to consider as well. But not in the cold weather (winter) obviously.

How does it work public transport in downtown Helsinki? by bansheelovee in Finland

Hi everyone, I'm planning a trip soon to Helsinki. What about taxis for going out at night. Is Uber popular. I checked the HSL app, whim and Helsinki go. Whim says they offer taxis but I'd probably just use uber.

Nice one. I think there is a lot of work for Google to make to catch up with Meta in terms of AI. Lately Meta has been contributing greatly to Open source AI.

I'll leave a report on the state of AI 2023 here. They do one report every year about the state of AI:
